Paramount Australia has sparked outrage and ridicule after promoting the September 11 release of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film with a poster showing the heroes falling from an exploding building.

le sigh
Did he actually just say "le sigh" unironically?
I would've never made the connection unless someone pointed it out.
How preposterous. I, too, have never known of this phenomenon in motion pictures known as "explosions within buildings" until the September 11, 2001 terror attacks. I am deeply offended and will enact a motion to boycott this motion picture.
I already know this movie is going to be bad.
Wait why the fuck does Australia care more than actual Americans about getting offended by something that remotely resembles 9/11?
TMNT did 9/11
Also lol at anyone who could actually be offended by this. It's just a generic downtown skyscraper, there is no falling rubble or helicopters in the sky. The turtles look more like they're dropping into action rather than plummeting to their death. Just another case of seeking out things to be offended by
Does anybody else care other than this single guy who uses le sigh
He has 3 retweets
Who fucking cares
But they aren't people, they're turtles.
Those cunts from Florida are probably laughing their asses off.
That building is round though. If I'm not mistaken the towers were perfect squares
People need to stop being so butthurt. Yes, it was a terrible thing that happened and we should never forget those that died. But complaining about something that doesn't even remotely resemble the WTC, and with god damn turtles jumping out of the building, more than a decade afterwards, is really stupid.

It's the daily mail, the "outrage" is one person on twitter.
Am I the only one who is slightly disgusted with their faces? They look almost as bad (if not worse) as the goombas in the Super Mario Movie.

I believe that it is offensive. It's too uncanny.

No one likes that they're changing Shrek, but it could've been worse.

I was more insulted about their bodies than I was about the possible 9/11 elements.
Reminds me of when Starbucks had to pull some poster because someone thought the way two cups where placed and the way a dragon fly was flying at them was supposed to represent the 9/11 attacks
People will see anything if they try hard enough
At least it's not as bad as this Spideerman movie trailer which featured the Twin Towers.

Jesus christ, who gives a fuck. Seriously, I'm not trying to sound like a dick but unless you are directly related/close to a victim of 9/11 then you've really got no reason to be "outraged"... and even then, 13 years on you're kind of pushing it. To the rest of the world this poster has absolutely no significance, get over it.
It's not even a good poster.
EDIT: Also, it's worth remembering that offence is never given, it's taken. People need to chill out and prioritise their shit, instead of going on a daily mail-esque "outrage" over a poster from Australia.

i'll never forget the day i saw turtles with various ninja weapons falling out of a generic building
People really are too sensitive nowadays.............they look for controversy in anything to the point it's getting ridiculous and we can't have anything nice.
TMNT was an inside job.

Might as well call it a terrorist attack on artistic integrity with the way they took the Turtles' designs.

TMNT? I thought this was Shrek: 5ever After.
We can never move on past 9/11 if people keep wetting themselves as soon as they see a tall building exploding in any media
Congratulations!
Everyone is doing exactly what Bay wants them to do, getting angry.
Negative publicity is the best advertisement.
This movie is probably going to be a bigger disaster and replace the attacks.
