A website that until very recently was published by Donald Trump's son-in-law has claimed that US spies are withholding their most sensitive intelligence from the White House. For the past three weeks, according to a former National Security Agency (NSA) analyst and counter-intelligence officer, some the America's spy agencies have begun withholding intelligence from the Oval Office amid fears "the Kremlin has ears inside" the White House situation room. The claims follow reports that National Security Adviser Michael Flynn discussed lifting sanctions against Moscow with a Russian diplomat before Mr Trump took office. An NSA official told the New York Observer it was holding back some of the "good stuff" from the White House, while one Pentagon worker said: "There's not much the Russians don't know at this point. Since January 20, we’ve assumed that the Kremlin has ears inside the [situation room]." The FBI is still investigating Gen Flynn's conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Nine sources told the Washington Post the pair had discussed sanctions imposed on Russia by outgoing President Barack Obama, despite Gen Flynn twice saying "no" in response to interview questions when asked if the sanctions, over Russia’s interference in the US election, were brought up.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/nsa-donald-trump-team-ties-russia-mike-flynn-national-security-adviser-daily-intelligence-briefings-a7576986.html Nothing solid, but an interesting claim nonetheless.
sounds like a legit setup to get him thrown out of office, withhold information from trump about his shady dealings with russia, hand that info over to congress and let them decide what to do
...Incoming coup?
well ideally trump will use this an excuse to dismantle the NSA, though for the wrong reasons
well ideally trump will use this an excuse to dismantle the NSA, though for the wrong reasons
Trump can't be trusted to build a half-decent SIGINT agency to replace them, PRISM or no
I wonder if Trump could even pass a background security clearance check
According to CNN, Trump himself is starting to distrust Flynn, he's not giving a straight answer, If this is True than Trump may not be connected to Russia, Flynn might be behind the shit
...Incoming coup?
President Mattis has a nice ring to it.
President Mattis has a nice ring to it.
I'd be completely fine with 4 to 8 years of Mattis in place of 1 to 4 years of Trump and his merry band of shysters.
I wonder if Trump could even pass a background security clearance check
Depends on the background check. For classified information checks a big thing they look at (the biggest?) is your financial situation regarding how much debt you have and who you owe it to. We don't know anything about Trump's personal debt but his businesses owe money to lenders all over the world, including Russia.
Hopefully Trump doesn't turn full Macbeth.
well ideally trump will use this an excuse to dismantle the NSA, though for the wrong reasons
This would be hilarious and awesome. The removal of the spy net wouldn't be due to a sanders or Ron Paul getting elected and doing the right thing. Nope, the opposite in fact. 🐸

For those who still feel malice towards the IC: There have been and will continue to be sweeping review of basically everything happening internally. It doesn't make a good story, so you probably haven't heard it in the news. https://icontherecord.tumblr.com/ppd-28/2015/overview I ask you all never forget how difficult it is for a spy organization to be transparent Understand that a lot of people are trying hard to regain the public's trust

There's a reason the intelligence community exists, in the same way there's a reason the military exists.

The point of my post is things are moving in a positive direction by having an immoral loud mouth clutz in office. I find it amusing.
Hopefully Trump doesn't turn full Macbeth.
Consult three witches then get killed by someone born via C-section? ...stranger things have happened, I guess.
things are moving in a positive direction
That right there is finding a silver lining on a dark cloud that's actively dropping baseball-sized hailstones that are causing millions in property and crop damage.

They dont smarten up until their view and habits cost them dearly. Besides shit happens. Not finding optimism within a shit storm only makes things worse.
