Based on the comics by the same name The Walking Dead is a tv show said to appear soon about the life of Police officer Rick Grimes. After being shot he wakes up in a hospital to find the world is over run with zombies. He then tries to find his wife and son who are missing. The creators have reverted back to the 'classic' slow zombies. I am one for a great zombie movie so a show seems like it could be awesome. It does look a little too cheery compared to previous zombie movies but lets see how it works out.
The role of Rick is to be played by Peter Krause

It is brought to us from Frank Darabont, director of The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. And Gale Anne Hurd, producer of the Terminator and Alien series.
Oh wow i loved the comics, haven't finished reading them all but hopfully the show turns out good.
I just finished reading book 4, and I'm loving it so far. I have to remember when this is on in the Uk.
Please don't be set in America, please don't be set in America...
This has captured my interest, particularly with the slow zombies. Hopefully it'll have a good element of ingenuity on the survivor's part.
Damnit, never mind, actually watched the trailer, heard the accents. Still, director of Shawshank and Green Mile? This should be pretty damned good.
It's showing sometime in November on fxuk for us Brits
I wonder if the show will be as good as the books. I sure hope so.
Seems interesting!
:frown: always America.
I liked the part where he went "I'm sorry this happened to ya." whilst the zombie was like, basically
disabled and couldn't move :v:
Liked the tank part too. Hope he did something with it.
Gaww dammit.
Even with search up.
Like The_Marine said, there's already a thread about this thataway.
I suddenly saw the trailer today and hell, it looks so awesome. Tanks and Zombies around, he carrying a weapon bag and riding a horse and all that suff. Immediatly catched me.
Also, when you look at the actual L4D2 mutation with the M60s, you can easily tell that if the army was to fight zombies, it wouldnt be a big deal :>
A lot of zombie films just try too hard, this is what looks like the perfect zombie film to be honest.
Cops, zombies, abandoned city.
And it's a tv show.
How much better does it get.

I check the Film and TV section like twice a day. I have no recollection of it being there. So i didn't see any point.
