Compared to the stuff we have nowadays I imagine Clancy the Skating Monkey would get old after a few minutes. That Dick Tracy car is pretty funky though.

edit: Problem solved, thanks ProgramFiles.

5:39 the baby looked like Hitler lol.
Imagine a skating monkey skating into your room when you're sleeping.
What lovely stereotype sidekicks you have, Dick Tracy!
Thumbelina is a ugly, ugly child-beast. And brilliant blatant marketing. The same toy, but half the size with one new gimmick, and because it's so small you have to buy all of the accessories all over again! Advertising was so simple then, just outright "Buy this or you're a failure", at least it wasn't quite so overpriced. (1963 50c I'm sure wouldn't make up to the 10 or so dollars that the smallest of doll accessories would cost now)
For a princess..like...meee????? :allears:
Holy shit I have that mouse trap game in my closet! Gonna go find it...
Dick Tracy lol
I had EXACTLY this Mouse Trap Game somewhere. Is it really that old?
If only the search light on the globe master had a working light. Then it would be even better.
Edit:
I had EXACTLY this Mouse Trap Game somewhere. Is it really that old?
I have it too. I never even played it the right way. I just wanted to see the traps work.

Before remote controlled cars, you needed to use a stick?
Wow
This is a wonderful thread, its Ideal
Globemaster was badass... Reminds me of all those Miniature Army Toys and Islands to play on with when I was a kid
I also like how Mousetrap hasn't changed a single god damn bit in 50 years

You can't tell me that anything's changed since then, kids toys have followed the same marketing principle since forever, the Star Wars franchise is a perfect example. There are 20 bajillion figurines, all in slightly different clothing, accessories and poses, tens of different editions, complete with aforementioned variations. All it is is a money making gimmick. If a buck can still be squeezed from something that buck will be squeezed.
