Wow, this looks way better than the crap we've been getting from the main series, ala Halo 4 & 5, feels very classic Halo.
Creative Assembly will deliver.
This actually looks fun as hell. Looking forward to the PC release.
Atriox is cool as hell. Definitely the first non-human character I've liked since Thel and Rtas.

This looks far more fun and true to the spirit of Bungie than the more recent main installments.
Awesome.
I want to watch this, but i don't want to spoil it. I can't wait for the PC Game!

Yeah these guys are outdated by UNSC standards, in fact they were still fighting in the Covenant-Human war until they were sent to a planet, some covenant managed to activate something and they were sent to an unknown system far outside of UNSC space, turns out they arrived at a Shield World that had a fuck ton of Forerunner warships on it, stuff happens, they beat the covenant, but to do so they have to sacrifice their Slipspace drive, using it to destabilize the Shield Worlds artificially created sun, destroying the Shield World and everything on it.
They are however stuck without a Slipspace Drive, far FAR away from any sort of familiar territory, it would have taken them a significant amount of time to get back using normal drives, so the crew all went into cryo leaving a small skeleton crew left to keep the ship going, they would have continued to drift if not for the "Ark" or whatever this forerunner thingy is pulling them in using Slipspace for some currently unknown reason.
For an AI Isabella seems very emotional, felt sort of weird.

Not really, Halo A.I are based on the neural patterns of human brains and are entirely sentient.
"Smart" AIs are created by mapping a human brain and using it as a "template" for the construct. They are capable of intuition, learning, and making logical leaps that ordinary computer programs cannot. They can also "feel" genuine emotions, such as affection, anger, and amusement. They have a normal operational life span of about seven years, after which they descend into rampancy
What you are thinking of is a "Dumb" A.I. which also exists in universe, but is far less versatile, far more rigid in it's learning capacity, lacks the ability to adapt beyond it's programming and is far slower than a "Smart" A.I.
"Dumb" AIs are not created using human brains, but are simply highly advanced computer constructs. They cannot learn anything that is outside of their set limits of dynamic memory processing matrix. They are quite useful in their particular field of expertise, but very limited. "Dumb" AIs can function and learn as long as they are active, and are not subject to the effects of rampancy experienced by aging "smart" AIs.
its cool but I wish Halo hadn't just gone "covenant 2: electric boogaloo"

Well seeing Halo 4 as an example of what happens when a "new" enemy is introduced, I think this is fine.

And Halo 5 was even worse in that regard. :scream:
[editline]edit[/editline]
Besides, these guys aren't exactly "Covenant 2.0" as the Covenant as a military entity was absolutely massive, The Banished are merely a splinter faction and a mercenary organization, kind of like the Swords of Sanghelios, though they weren't Mercenaries, except The Banished don't believe in all the fluff the Covenant spout about the Forerunners and they hate everything the Covenant stands for, when the Covenant came apart, it left a vacuum of power that certain splinter factions managed to take advantage of, The Banished included.
So while they ARE a threat, they are hardly the Covenant, they are basically a mere fraction of what the Covenant was in it's hay-day.

Why do some of the gameplay graphics look so bad?

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean the art style, or the graphical quality?

Probably a little of both.
Its very... RTS kinda pudgy.
I don't mind it tbh. The cutscenes are fucking beautiful though
