You fucking LIE.
If I saw that happen I'd flip the fuck out.
"Dude, did you really just drop a transplantable heart?!"
I think I saw a few of them shit their heart out, maybe they can use one of those if this surgery isn't successful?
I'm glad the heart's okay, would suck for the recipient to die on the table because these guys dropped it.
Because the OP is probably new:
[release]
Medical staff in Mexico were caught on camera after they dropped a human heart being rushed to a transplant patient by private jet and police helicopter.
Great efforts were made to get the organ to its destination in time for a life-saving operation but it all almost came unstuck just metres from the hospital.
Thankfully the heart was not damaged and the transplant operation was a success. The patient is said to be responding well to her new heart.

It was Heart warming That he finally got his heart...
No?
Yikes, that's gotta be scary for the doctors.
I was hoping to see a bloody red heart roll around on the ground. This is much less... exciting.
When people say "no pun intended", a pun is intended.
10 second rule guys

It was the title of the BBC report, go blame them
they replaced it with the heart of a mega baboon
My heart goes out to the family
I guess those medics were eating their hearts out with sorrow after they dropped it.
christ, dropping real important shit like that is one of my biggest fears, though to be honest this was in 3 layers of plastic as the guy said
like at the end of the champions league where barca held up that trophy above loads of people really high up. imagine dropping that

Even the BBC video does it...
"With heart-stopping accuracy."
"Their hearts in their mouths"
From the title, I was expecting some sort of interview with some medics in Mexico about an incident of someone getting critically wounded by a Cartel thug.
I'm glad the heart didn't get damaged, especially after the lengths taken to ensure it got it to the patient safely.
What I thought of when I entered the thread..

I was expecting a bloody heart to comically slip from a doctor's hands

Who gives a shit how it's posted. News is about information not glammer.
Those fucking coolers are so damn stupid. That handle is such a stupid thing to hold on to holding ANYTHING inside it.
"Come on, come on quick-SHIT DUDE did you just drop the fucking heart?! What the fuck! Quick get it off the damn floor!"
Imagine being told this story after they just finished implanting it into you.
Oh, I thought the heart actually touched the ground.
Guess that heart took a little beating :v:
In the news video itself, there was 100 puns. Holy shit.
