Wow, almost 10 years later, I've come back. SO much has changed. - General

When I first started playing GMod i was like 15 or 14 yrs old, Im 23 now. Its crazy to think about, Miss the comics alot. Is anybody still here from WAY back in the day? I used to make comics. I doubt anyone remebers me, i was more often on PHW then FPnch. If your an ol school Gmodder post here and lets share some nostalgic stories! Recently loaded ^ GMod again. I MISSED ALL OF YA! Missed this community as a whole for a while now. SO glad to be back here again. Nostalgia to the f|_|llest

Oh, DUH! lol of course. I knew that, i jst didnt know the forum showed what OS im using. Lol i feel a lil dmb now :P Yea i still have XP. I like XP alot. Scks that its an obsolete OS now tho :( Over all I'd jst like to say that I missed the Facepnch community a lot. Rear Admiral - Spot on my friend lol. I have to agree. Before we had our greats (Dav0r, Lode, among many others) there were plentiful amount of "Mingebags" posting horribly done comics and bad VA videos. Lol thos were the days! (Oh and who's Max?) Heh

Facepunch before I joined was always "that site that people sometimes link to under garrysmod.org uploads" lurked for a bit, then made an account

I used to lurk for years before actually making my own account. And even then I didn't post a lot. ONe thing I remember from back then was one weird as fuck, borderline surreal gmod comic about a hl2 npc on a christmas themed map being pursued by zombies and other nightmarish stuff. At one point he uses a buzzsaw to the face to defend himself and it kept altering between dream and reality. Near the end, there was screenshots of beta stalkers nailed to some boathouse and the dr breen model was used for some sort of evil mastermind. I'm sure it was terrible but out of all the gmod comics this one stuck in my memory. I'm curious if anyone else remember this, just to see if such things are ultimately forgotten on the internet. It'd be kinda weird to think that I could be the only one remembering this, out of all the people who read it and commented. There was also a ms paint 'choose your adventure' style comic about a guy stuck in a nightmare. It was called something 'night' and started with the protagonist walking down a snowy street at night. He wore a woolen hat and encountered silent hill style creatures that he fought with an axe at some point. Anyone remember that?

I used to just lurk before I had an account, but I've been here for a very long time as well. Essentially, the site changed from forums.facepunchstudios.com to facepunch.com, and along the lines the formatting has changed several times as well. The insta-banning system was removed along with the smartness system, and animated avatars were allowed.
