It's not cancelled, the page was removed on moddb. Also the game was never going to be developed anyways just like all their other games.

Well, since there's no simulator, there's no choice but to shoot up a real school.

It was only removed from ModDb, which was actually quite a while ago. Development of the mod is still continuing, apparently.

Who canceled it? Valve? How did they go about doing that? You can't just steal the mod developer's computers and delete codes and graphics.
