My first "professional" student film. Based around the concept of human genocide, this film uses zombies as an allegory to human bloodlust. Written, organized, shot and edited over the course of four weeks at a five-week summer program called the Center for Creative Youth, hosted at Wesleyan University. I welcome all criticism and critique, seeing as this is my first true film.
The camera is a little shaky at the beginning, but overall it's not bad.
Wasn't believable. They seem too calm.

This.
Also that monologue was rather boring
I felt that the filter made it somewhat unbelievable.
1 :- No blood or gore, very hard to believe the people are dead they look like they are having a nice lye down especially at 2:35
2 :- It all seems too rehersed
Other then that it was a good watch. Next time it would be cool from a POV
I liked it. Actors were iffy, but a overall good film!
Boring actors and pretty boring overall.
Doesn't feel like a film, sounds more like someone reading a novel with some pictures to go along with it.
The attitudes and ways the actors speak don't fit their appearances at all.
Also the characters all sound like the same person, they need to mix up how they talk, and maybe improvise a bit instead of memorizing ever single word in the script and simply repeating it.
There's also nothing to show what happened beforehand.
It'd be better if you included something short in the beginning that hints at the reason they're in that situation in the first place.
Not believable, bad acting, some angles were a little bad to me, the "dead bodies" were breathing, and I don't know if that guy at 2:50 was supposed to be professional, but he didn't look professional with tennis shoes.
It also seemed boring that they just decided to leave the zombies instead of wanting to defend themselves, or get rid of them.

Overall, it was OK, but it could have been loads better.
Did you take any influence from L4D? Your characters are pretty similar.
i couldnt watch it without cringing at every line because it was so unbelievable.
There was no action, and I honestly couldn't sit through that if you paid me.
The actors delivered their lines with no emotion and sounded way too rehearsed. It made the film rather awkward to watch.
Ehhh, acting needs work.
I like how you tried to do something new with the zombie theme, but the conclusion is just dumb. The humans aren't killing for fun, they're killing in self-defense.
The acting needs work. There needs to be some gore. And this needs to be longer because it seems like you just rushed instead of taking your time. I thought everything else was fine, really great movie.
Zombie daughter was clearly seen breathing.
Acting was also also generally bad.
I had to take a dump
^ Nice to know.
Dead people don't wiggle and move, as far as I know. Don't mean to be a stickler but it bugs me when I see supposed "dead people" and they twitch and change positions.
Not too bad for a first movie. Could add gore and better actors.
