Aww, no "now it's a ghost town" joke in the description.
So, is this map set before or after the disaster?

after
Pripyat (Ukraine), was the city that got completely evacuated following the tragic events of the Chernobyl NPP disaster, the 26 of April 1986. Before the accident at the NPP, around 50.000 people was living in Pripyat. The city got heavily contaminated by radiation coming from the NPP wreckage, making impossible for people to live there again for the next 24.000 years.
50 people?
24 years?
:buddy:
Radiation would not last 24,000 years.
That's just silly.
In other countries, they use the period as a comma (in numbers).

and vice versa

Some radioactive isotopes continue to emit radiation for over 7 billion years

Have you taken Chemistry class?
HOLY FUCKING SHIT! I'm already in love this this map! :buddy:
Fifty thousand people used to live he-...
I'm just kidding. Looks pretty good, it would look amazing if this was released back in 2007.

somewhat small.
Howdy ho.
Looks nice, but is it supposed to be that chernobyl russian nuclear place?
Its the town outside Chernobyl yes. Holy shit I spelt Chernobyl right on the first try.
In Call of Pripyat, the town is supposedly pretty accurate. Shame it was boring compared to Jupiter and Zaton.
Might give this map a try.
I always read Chernobyl as Cherynbol :sigh:

This map is great for the STALKER NPC pack.
Can't believe i got scared again..in source engine.
What is this shit?.

I think radiation falls more under physics.
It doesn't realy look like pripyat. If you took out the buildings in the skybox and made the actual ones, it would look look like it. Maybe make a second version with that and better lighting?
It's very small, and you can barely enter one building. I didn't really care for it.
I'm still thinking how the hell did I manage to shoot a guy's head with a M95 and the only think I took off him was his arm.
actually it was an M82A2

I always pronounced it as "chair-no-bull"
is that right?
