“I know it might be not politically correct for you to talk about it, but there were people cheering as that building came down — as those buildings came down. And that tells you something,” he said. “It was well covered at the time, George.”
http://www.nytimes.com/politics/first-draft/2015/11/22/donald-trump-again-insists-he-saw-celebrations-in-new-jersey-on-sept-11/?_r=0 This guy is a fucking joke.
This is like pre-Holocaust levels of hysteria.
This is like pre-Holocaust levels of hysteria.
I mean he's already advocating that black protesters at his rallies get "roughed up" and his supporters have beaten the shit out of 5-6 minorities already so the parallels are definitely there.
Does he actually say that it was Muslims who were cheering when the towers went down?
“There were people that were cheering on the other side of New Jersey, where you have large Arab populations. They were cheering as the World Trade Center came down. I know it might be not politically correct for you to talk about it, but there were people cheering as that building came down — as those buildings came down. And that tells you something. It was well covered at the time, George. Now, I know they don’t like to talk about it, but it was well covered at the time. There were people over in New Jersey that were watching it, a heavy Arab population, that were cheering as the buildings came down. Not good.” - Trump quoted from Washington post Edit: The reporter then goes onto say that the police have no record of this whatsoever.

They sang as the TV showed images of people jumping to their deaths rather than being burned alive, the idiots.

"The Reluctant Fundamentalist" I was force to read it during my final high school years. It pretty much say's what he is saying.
This dude is such a narcissistic maniac. If he was actually elected, we'd go into another huge war.
Thankfully the president has limited power. Says lots about the state of american politics. Republicans are presented with such a poor choice of candidates they pick a nutter like trump.
I wonder if he knows he's a piece of shit or if he is just completely delusional.
He sounds like a crazy rambling man
That's not coincidental.
Jesus christ i swear if this cunt somehow manages to get himself elected, he will cause a jihadist shitstorm of unimaginable proportions as he ends up radicalizing the entire fucking muslim population and then he starts rambling about how he was right all along

I mean, you're just saying the same thing three times. And saying the same thing three times just makes your statement look redundant.
Holy fuck he's finally snapping. No wonder he's losing voters to Carson and Rubii.
The whole internet "celebrates" 9/11 with memes.
The whole internet "celebrates" 9/11 with memes.
So who is this 4chan guy?
What's even more sad is that Trump is damaging the republican party ever getting this election... they won't win unless they get the minority vote... which Trump is happily steering away them.
What's even more sad is that Trump is damaging the republican party ever getting this election... they won't win unless they get the minority vote... which Trump is happily steering away them.
Hilary vs Trump would be horrifying. Bernie vs Trump would be hilarious but also horrifying.

They're just divided among really shitty candidates.
Jesus, this guy...Orangeface McCombover
Not sure about thousands celebrating in New Jersey, that number seems like a stretch if at all true. There is a sect in New York that celebrated it though, so it's not like Western Muslims being against the West don't exist. Regardless it doesn't seem to be worth mentioning, they're a massive minority and only add fuel to fire against good Muslim Americans. The Westboro Baptist Church exists, after all.
Yeah guys, there's no way this could have ever happened. Yep, no way. He never said all muslims celebrated 9/11, he said he saw some people celebrate. Which is totally possible if you watch the videos above. Stop getting offended over every little thing and read up on what's being said before you freak out.
Too bad the Republicans also control the Congress and the moderates have yet to grow huge enough balls to tell the reactionaries to stuff it.
I wouldn't worry, even the GOP greatly dislike Trump.
Yeah guys, there's no way this could have ever happened. Yep, no way. [videos snipped to save space] He never said all muslims celebrated 9/11, he said he saw some. Which is totally possible if you watch the videos above. Stop getting offended over every little thing and read up on what's being said before you freak out.
I can be certain that most facepunch users here know its only a tiny minority of muslims that do this kind of things. We know because there are many different opinions here, and we all saw the arguments, and the points of "westboro baptist church, kkk, etc" being made. I am certain you and most of the people here know that a vast majority of muslims are good people who did nothing wrong, are not related to ISIS at all, etc. The point thats being made here is that the kind who follow trump blindly like this firmly believe that all muslims are bad. They look at the videos like the ones you posted and assume all muslims are like this whilst ignoring all the overwhelming evidence to the contrary (this blindness also occurs to other things, such as global warming, vaccines, etc.) Trump has a legion of people who have been known for beating up minorities, for being legitimately racist and completely ignorant, and trump has done nothing to address it, frankly he just feeds it as we see here. That is the true problem
Does he actually say that it was Muslims who were cheering when the towers went down?

“I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down,” he told a crowd in Birmingham, Ala., on Saturday. “And I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down.”
I honestly can't find the word Muslim in these quotes. It just says "thousands of people were cheering". Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of Trump and I'm not trying to defend him. It's just that there's a bit of a disparity between these two titles: FP: "Donald Trump claims that American Muslims celebrated 9/11" NY: "Donald Trump Again Insists He Saw Celebrations in New Jersey on Sept. 11"
I wouldn't mind for a second having McCain for president. That's coming from someone with a left lean. Can't believe he isn't running.
Reminds me of 2008, when a republican win would've just been a bummer, rather than almost certain doom

Of course some people that hate america are gonna celebrate after the fact but there's still no proof that "people cheering as that building came down — as those buildings came down." in New Jersey.
