Being someone who knows nothing about magic, that was pretty sweet.
swagalicious
I really dislike his mannerisms and demeanor but that's kind of impressive honestly.
The trick is cool, but I can't help but think that he had already written down the answers and merely told the judges what to say beforehand.
HURR SWAG
no wonder you have trouble connecting with people
thats actually a really lame and easy trick

he had a stagehand writing the things down then slid the paper into the tube

Mind explaining? To the common person it's really impressive.

How? When the tube was in a locked container suspended in the air, unreachable? And when only Collins had the key?
cool trick, annoying as fuck person.
His dad looks like Jeff Probst :v:

It's a bit hard to tell but I think the tube is bottomless and the paper is stored in a secret space inside the ladder.
It makes sense; why else would he need a ladder? He could have just hung the box within his own reach and done it without a ladder. :v:
who need friend when u got swg
I just hate it when people say "it's a lame trick" when apparently everything is lame to them.
Sure there was something behind it but it was impressive.
His other two acts were also pretty impressive:

Especially the second one.
The movie "Now you see me" comes to mind on OPs vide
Pretty great.
I like Howie Mandel, ever since I read his autobiography.
Thwag
'Hey could someone get that for me?'
Stagehand comes on who has been writing down all the tweets, motions to put his hand inside the box and procures the folded sheet from his sleeve. Pulls it out and passes it to him.
Also oh my god why does he keep saying swag.

There's a sucker born every day.
You can see him reaching inside the box after he puts it on top of the ladder, right before he steps down. Like others have said the paper was probably rigged somewhere on the ladder and he just grabbed it and shoved it in the box. We never see the bottom of the tube he grabs it from so it is probably bottomless.
I watched a lot of magic shows as a kid and after I while I was really good at spotting the tricks in a set. To this day the only trick I have yet to REALLY figure out is the Shadow illusion done by Penn & Teller.

Nah. It was all legit, he just had someone helping him by writing it all down backstage, and bringing it out with the ladder. Add some sleight of hand with the box and there you have it. You think he really needed a step ladder to get the box? Why not just have the box sitting on the judges table the entire time? Everything is there for a reason, and the reason for hanging it is to have a reason for bringing the ladder out which makes someone coming out with something not look out of place. It's the only way to have done that trick the way he did. Penn & Teller would've liked it but smashed it to pieces
It's still a Good trick, though
Yeah, watching it back you can totally see where he reaches down and plants the thing inside it, just before he gets the key. Nice trick, but not mindblowing or amazing or anything.

This is probably my favorite magic trick of all time. I started crying the first time I saw it, it's beautiful on so many levels.

Fun fact; When Teller kisses Vincent's hand, in magician circles that's considered the ultimate compliment. They both consider Vincent to be one of the best magicians in the world.
His hand is reflecting on the outside of the box?
