And yes, that is Jeffery Combs.
I like his supermove. It lacks any sort of pacing compared to other characters, but it's a huge fucking lazer from the skies, can't dislike that tbh. His overall design reminds me of XCOM 2's Tier 3 armour for soldiers:

Darn, I'd have much preferred the voice actor from the animated series as Brainiac, especially given Superman and Batman have there respective animated series voice actors.
Jeffery Combs is ok, but I dunno, he doesn't really sound like Brainiac to me.
I hope he has a skin/armour set that makes him look like his more robotic incarnations.
Oh Brian, ya silly goose.

Brainiac is a very odd character.
He's also one of the most inconsistently protrayed characters ive ever fucking seen, comparable to Transformers at times with how wildly different his looks, personality, and origin are.
Sometimes he's the AI system Brainiac from Krypton, like in the animated series.
Sometimes he's Vril "Brainiac" Dox, an alien android from Colu, like how he is in a bunch of comics and this game.
Originally he was just some green asshole who was practically just an alien Lex Luthor. Also that one time he was delusional schizophrenic Circus psychic who thought he was an alien supercomputer named Milton.
Sometimes he's trying to archive the universe, sometimes he's just a dick.

Sometimes he's an armored abomination.

Sometimes he wears a sweater and looks like he's about to get arrested for soliciting children with candy.
Even among the wildly varying looks and ways comic book superhero characters can be portrayed, Brainiac stands out for being especially hard to nail down, no two versions of him are really alike (this got to a point where they tried to explain all previous versions as probes of the real Brainiac). Well, except for that metal album cover of a skull shaped spaceship he has, he usually has that.
And in his current incarnation he is 100% metal

I like how he looked in DC Universe Online
Sometimes he's swole as fuck, other times, he's just a robot... sometimes he's going to absorb all knowledge then destroy it, other times he just wants to destroy it and learn about shit later, sometimes he has a collection fetish, sometimes he's from krypton...
He's a writer tool at this point for any antagonist that is super powerful, insanely intelligent, mostly a computer, and insert plot relevant attributes as needed past that.
