• A short orchestral composition

Hello, this is a little piece I made with Cubase and EastWest Symphonic Orchestra & Choir. There is not much dynamics in the song, but that's mostly because I'm very new to composing, and I don't really know how to work the program properly. I would like to know what you think, and if you could give me some useful advice & criticism. The beginning of the song is a little monotone and boring, but it gets better later on! (This is due to me understanding the program more and more). I recorded almost everything in real-time using a midi keyboard. Good job man, fits the title very well! :buddy:
The intro where most of the instruments are playing the same bit doesn't blend as well when it transitions from note to note, but this is really cool, I like it.
Thanks! Yeah, the beginning sounds a little weird, I think it gets way better past the 0:30 mark!
Good job! Nothing to say.
Good job! The only complaint I have is that it doesn't sound very realistic. The orchestration sounds pretty good, so it's probably just the patches you're using. Try playing around with them and selecting different ones. Also, make sure the parts that you didn't play in are humanized.
Also, just wanted to say that I do enjoy the piece a lot composition wise and, as Yur|ko said, the title fits perfectly. [editline]6/13/2011[/editline] RIP Automerge

In my opinion, the percussion was a little bit lacking, but other than that it's great.
I really liked it, it's nice, but I think you should make few bits without some music then make a loud note as a "big entry" for the song.
Really impressive! It got good structure and the sounds are pretty good. Keep at it man
