Domino's mega youtube thread for videos I've made/contributed to - General

I suppose this is allowed, so instead of spamming this sub-forum I want to have a megathread for my videos, or videos I've contributed to making :) Some of these videos might be reposts, but this is my place for peace and love. [B]I will be editing this post with my newest videos first, so that the further you scroll, the older it gets.[/B] And unfortunately some of my videos aren't available in Germany nor on mobile platforms because of copyrights and shit :( [I][U]I'll keep this thread once a week or more if requested until it's up to date.[/U][/I] Also, my content are far more of the serious kind, so I'm accepting any form of criticism. NEWER SHIT GETTING POSTED... This should give some sort idea on what my content is about. Two weeks later, me and two other friends were "hired" to perform a tiny showcase for "Lekolar" a producer of playgrounds, they wanted to show their Parkour playground equipment. Four weeks spent on the animation. [video=youtube;UvRAc6hovwk]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvRAc6hovwk[/video] In August 2010 I started studying 3D at a university in Oslo, Norway, this was our first group assignment, we were to make a Rube Goldberg animation and we had no experience with animation. We were a group of four students but about 10% of the 3D modeling, and 75% of the animation was made by me. In general, a megathread is way better than spamming a fuckload of new threads whenever someone is making something new. It's a showcase for what I've done, but if people think it's douchy to showcase his/hers works, then I totally understand why no-one would want to create a megathread like this. I personally would love to see other megathreads like this from people, that way I can easily keep up with progression and stuff instead of having to search for all their threads.

If people like the video you posted and are interested in seeing more, time to make a megathread. If people don't seem to exited about your video, I guess it isn't really necessary to make a megathread for them. This is just my opinion.

Didn't get HUGE recognition, but I got some :-/ But like I said, I'll keep this thread updated instead of bombarding the forum with loads of threads. And yes, it might become forgotten or something during time, but time will tell. I do a lot of different stuff, and I have experience to share if people want to know stuff :)

Very douchey to make a whole thread about yourself in such massive proportions. You could've shown us one or two vids and let us search and upload from your channel as time went on or something of the sort. Also, Facepunch doesn't deal well with mass video spamming in single posts/small threads anyways.

You are wrong, at least partially. I think a lot of self-made stuff ends up in the Creationist Corner subforum.

I would have put this thread there, but since this is the youtube section I thought it was natural to put something like this in this sub-forum

This section floats mainly around humor, and has a notorious track record for people uploading their own mediocre "lel funnies" and getting pissy when people give them constructive criticism.

My content are far more of the serious kind, so I'm accepting any form of criticism :) I'll add a new video in the OP tomorrow :)

At this point, I kinda wish you'd just stop and post threads separately as they come out, gauge reaction from that. It's bad enough you made a megathread for yourself, self-bumping it isn't helping much either.

(Just asking)[/QUOTE] I run a channel and post a lot of stuff I think is great, but it takes a huge amount of mental power to post something of mine in this section, it usually gets ripped apart and I still struggle with criticism in many ways. I take things too personally. So in many ways the section prefers people to post thread about other people not of them selves generally since in affect, if someone is making a thread for you, they think you're worth it and it's kind of an auto-qualify in some peoples minds.
