I love the looks of the mini cooper. But the Audi A1 has me sold. Any other awesome looking small hatchbacks out for america? Cause the Audi A1 isn't coming to America any time soon.

The hatchback I currently own edit: Also if anyone knows where I can get this specific bodykit, PLEASE let me know because this is the fucking best bodykit I've ever seen for this car. Usually the bodykits are too.... bubbly for me
Technically a hatchback One of the, if not the best handling FWD car ever sold.

Try it in real life, seriously good car, no hint of understeer and the noise from the engine, love it.
Sorry to dissapoint but the Mini isnt a hatchback!

I love hatchback cars, I refuse to get a car with a trunk now. They are just better. Hold more, look better, etc. They allow a smaller form factor too, and tend to get better MPG.
[t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1031910/DSC00004.JPG[/t] Hatch's ftw. Fit 5 people with plenty of room and luggage for 5 people no issue! Also you COULD get a A1... If you tried. Import/Switch over all the shit for US standard's and tones o shit.
inb4 bradley crx
CRX isn't a hatchback. I mean, technically it is, but it's labelled a "Sports Compact". Civic hatchbacks though, I'd have to say, not the best hatchback but they're plenty fun and cheap. Well balanced. The best hatchback? Chevy Monza + 350 SBC Kidding. Maybe. Boy I wish car manufacturers would start bringing small hatches over to the US. I would kill for an A1. Or if they ever make an S1, I would kill for that, too.

I'm with you on the Audi A1. It totally sucks that they're not bringing it US anytime.

Whether or not it's got a hatchback doesn't really affect that kind of shit. [editline]10th September 2011[/editline]
CRX isn't a hatchback. [editline]10th September 2011[/editline] The title of the thread is "Hatchbacks" Not "Station Wagons"
Then the title should be 3 doors [editline]10th September 2011[/editline] Because technically, "Station Wagons" have hatch backs.
Or small hatchbacks. Some hatchbacks with 5 doors look good too.
Very few 5 door cars are referred to as "hatchbacks", people call those wagons, because they're much longer than the typical "short" hatchback. The whole reason people like hatchbacks is because they are small and easy to get around in. It's a nice wagon, though, don't get me wrong. You've got a clean ride.
They may be wagons, but they still have a hatchback.

I assume it's the same as this and the trans am above, in that the whole rear end window and all lift up?

You could probably also call them liftbacks.
