Though it pissed me off when i went to my friends and told them about the show, they thought i was talking about the terrible American version. Then i told them the british version and they said the American version was better.

I'm from America and I didn't even know there was an American version.
That's not even necessary...
I only know two people who watch top gear and it's the true version.

I've started watching the show now recently and I love it. It's hilarious, and it's opened my eyes to the world of cars. Kinda itching to get my drivers license now.

American Top Gear production was on par with the English production but the content lacks jmh, which makes all the difference in the world.

My friends mock it calling it "top jear" and spelling their names in portuguese (which sounds extremely hammy in comparison) and dislike the show because "its 3 old men who are edited riding expensive cars fast, and because the show doesn't shows enough Peugeot 106's and more regular average joe brands"

And the American version of Top Gear is like watching a bunch of really monotone people talking in a really monotone tone. Few shows have hosts that bad. Jimmy Fallon is one of them to me. I just don't like the way he speaks, its like its slipping away from reality or something.

It's nice to have yes but if i remember correctly, you work in Stockholm and it's almost impossible to drive a car there without panicking especially when you're new to driving.
