when I heard the hunniepop guys were making another game I was happy, but I don't like the art style of this. They look like Bratz or something

I know this is a joke post, but compared to their last game, the art in this is pretty unfitting in my opinion.
Honestly, I don't like the direction they took this series. I know that seems kind of silly, but HuniePop was a fun game. This just seems like they're banking on the "sex" stuff.

As if HuniePop wasn't banking on the sex stuff? It was literally a dating sim with explicit sex scenes in it, this game is far from a leap in terms of content

huniepop was shit though, it only became popular due to everyone treating it like a joke game
game wise it's glorified bejeweled

what is the point of a dating sim without explicit sex scenes in it

I wouldn't say it was shit. It was a niche game that could be pretty funny. Yeah, it's fairly mindless, but the game worked well and did exactly as it was advertised - you match 3 and get points, and the game can get fairly difficult later on if you don't plan ahead for each characters.
That and there were alien boobies so.

Pfft, like I would read anything pertinent before posting an opinion on an online forum
Oh boy, one of my steam friends has 5,628 hours in HuniePop, maybe I'll gift him this when it comes out to see him play it practically 24/7

Somebody's gonna find a way to snap their waistband to it somehow.
So they've moved from a Bejewel Dating Sim to a Business Tycoon's CityVille.
I love innovation but you can't top a Dating themed Bejewel game.
Next thing you'll see them do is make a Huniepop fighting game :v:.
I feel like the developers have misunderstood the relative success behind the first game.

Those were on Newgrounds
In 2007
misread this as hypercam
The constant heart pupils bother me more than anything else.
Heart pupils are my one true weakness. They're what's stopping me from completely hating the new artstyle.
I liked the art style of the first game a lot more.
Gross artstyle Gross everything.

And this is allowed on Steam now? wtf since when
[editline]4th April 2016[/editline]
wait nevermind, forgot about the fact that literally anything can make it's way to the Steam store nowadays
Valve dont even care anymore half the new games these days are visual novels with lots of "nudity"
Separate version with no nudes if I remember correctly.
The developer did directly link an uncensor patch on the game's steam discussion page though, which kinda defeats the point. Valve never did anything about it either so they might as well have just let all that stuff get left in in the first place.

Valve probably just doesn't want it on the servers, there are nude mods for Skyrim just not on Workshop.

Why are there nude mods of ARK on the Workshop then? :v:
Honestly, Valve should just drop the squeaky clean image of their distribution plattform and allow mature content.
It's what happens behind the curtains anyways for years now with uncensor patches provided by the developers and Source Film Maker being the #1 plattform for creating 3D porn.

And then Steam turns into a porn distribution platform
Some of you guys have acted like you never jerked off onto your sister's Bratz dolls before.
Hunie Pop's art style is too American IMO
In the vain of the first game, I'm not sure if this will meet the same response. Say what you will, but Hunie Pop was a dating sim which is a fairly popular genre. This looks like an idea for a flash game.
Also the fact that you can give people coke as a gift so they can keep whoring themselves over the internet is just plain fucking uncomfortable.
