Crackdown and Crackdown 2 were both shitty games, why did they need a sequel?
Crackdown and Crackdown 2 were both shitty games, why did they need a sequel?
I dunno what you're talking about, Crackdown 1 was pretty damn fantastic. I played co op on that shit for hours. But yeah, 2 blew it, and combine that failure with APB flopping and Realtime Worlds went under. Which is why this announcement surprised the hell out of me. I'm gonna just stay cautiously optimistic for this one.
Crackdown 2 wasn't that good and the gameplay was really stale. For its time, Crackdown 1 was good. But I don't know how they can reinvent the gameplay mechanics here. That is a lot of collateral damage, even for Crackdown standards.
Because fuck opinions on the internet
Yes, he's sharing his own opinion. Your point? Like feel free to call him dumb or whatever for what he said, I don't care, it just annoys me when someone complains about someone complaining about opinions when they're doing exactly that.
Crackdown 1 is still fuckloads of fun today, it just needed a bit more fleshing out by current Gen standards. Plus they have the original creator David Jones on board, this should go well
Skills for kills, agent.
The agents' plan in this trailer was the most stupidly over elaborate thing I've ever seen.
i can see my house from here
Because fuck opinions on the internet
You post publicly, you're subjecting yourself to scrutiny. That's how it works. You don't get a divine right to not have your opinion questioned or criticized.

I didnt like Crackdown 1/2 so deal with it.
*goes into thread about thing* "HEY I DONT LIKE THING" *gets rightfully bitched out* "THATS JUST MY OPINION GUYS GOSH"
I didnt get "rightfully bitched out" lol I dont see too many people bitching at me
who cares that you pointed it out
shut the fuck off
shut the fuck off
...what?
I got an instant boner the instant I heard the agency guy's voice.
Yeah im subjected to the hivemind's scrutiny because of having a different opinion. I didnt like Crackdown 1/2 so deal with it.
Oooor how about you quit acting like we should care? Stop shitting up the thread.
Like the very first video Michael from Achievement Hunters ever posted was of Crackdown, and it got him hired at Rooster Teeth Not as good as the first one, IMO
I remember buying Crackdown for the Halo 3 beta and I ended up never even playing the beta because Crackdown was just that fucking amazing. I'll be keeping an eye on this game.
Crackdown 1 was pretty amazing, the vehicle transformations were so amazing and were so different from most any game I'd played before, or since. Crackdown 2 was okay, but it certianly wasn't nearly as good. I really, really want to play Crackdown 3, but I'm not really too excited to buy an Xbone
Y'know I'm pretty sure that whole operation would incur a considerable amount of paperwork :v: I wonder if the game is gonna do the trailer justice. I mean, if you're gonna show off characters doing stuff like this in a trailer (for an open world game, no less) one would expect this to be possible in game, right?
It's pretty obvious they're going to be focusing on destructable buildings and coop. The trailer ends with the city blowing up and the CEO is talking about the domino effect. I'm intrigued atleast.

It's what made me quit playing the game, what a terrible fucking idea though, I never raged so hard at a game in my life.
