To add the game, just follow these steps:Start by downloading and installing Origin. If you already have Origin you can skip to step 3. Not an Origin member? Create a free Origin Account to get in the game. Launch Origin and log into your Origin Account. From the ‘Games’ tab in the Origin menu, select ‘Redeem Product Code’ and enter the code I-LOVE-THE-SIMS
I am completely okay with this.
Isn't this the version that has like, a bajillion mods for it?
This is why I don't diss on EA as hard as others do. Because they're able to do nice stuff like this now and then. Plus Comcast is more Hitler than EA if you asked me :v:
That is so good......but I still don't trust EA as a company in many ways. Origin isn't a shitty service though but I'd still prefer steam for future releases(This is more to have everything in 1 spot. Origin is the only service besides steam that I use).
oh boy i can finally build pools!
heh, i was trying to put my sims 2 keys into my origin account like a few weeks ago and apparently all were used besides university, which didnt want to be put on my origin account.
Oh boy, on a sidenote Peggle is free right now.
Woah wait, is there a catch somewhere?
and my Origin library slowly grows larger
good on ea still not gonna buy the sims 4 though
I have a feeling it was a bit due to all the people trying to bullshit for a copy :v:
Woah wait, is there a catch somewhere?
you'll presumably die of old age during the loading screens
Woah wait, is there a catch somewhere?
The only catch is that you have to use origin, which to be honest isn't as bad as some people make it out to be.
Can't say no to this. Also offering BF3 at £15? I'm enjoying this
pretty cool, although it won't let me log in for some reason
This is great, although i got the game a few days ago already. Do mods work with the origin version?
origin is actually less annoying than steam sometimes sure battlelog is an unnecessary piece of shit but i've had no problems with origin itself
This is actually fucking awesome. Not aware of the actual price of this but I think it'd be pretty huge. Big amount of content as well
and i was happy that it's exclusive to loyal players
Fucking neato.
Can't say no to this. Also offering BF3 at £15? I'm enjoying this
BF3 was free like two months back.
Woah wait, is there a catch somewhere?
Well, they presumably aren't getting very many sales for the game (instead people getting 3 and 4), so figured free games will pull people over into using origin more. This gets origin more attention, which they're hoping will get more people frequently using it. They did the same with BF1942. Good on them tbh. To be honest, I actually find Origin to be better than Steam at a few things, though Battlelog can go screw itself.
is the log in popup blank for anyone else? I can't seem to find anything on the problem
it's also good marketing for the sims 4 release get people hooked on playing sims 2 out of nostalgia and introduce new people to the series as well then sims 4 comes out 'oh sims 4 is out sims 2 was pretty boss better make sure to buy this one'
Dude this is fucking sick. I loved the sims 2.
It's a sort of compensation that Sims 2 support is ending.
Redeemed. I also told my sister about it, so she's probably going to redeem it as well. LET THERE BE SIMS!
is the log in popup blank for anyone else? I can't seem to find anything on the problem
Yeah I had that, waited a long fucking time for it to load but in the end it did.
Pretty awesome, though I'm going to have to get used to lots again.
The catch is that you'll have to manually fix the game yourself. Since the game is so old it won't detect your modern hardware and you'll have to fix resolution and shadows and AA yourself.
