Just because that happened when a specific few people took control of the bomber hunt before it went bad doesn't mean that everyone who went or ever will go on there is retarded. 4chan just had the right people in the right place whenever they decided to go detective or fuck people up, that doesn't mean it's more of a collective group of CSI scientists than anywhere else.

Anonymous isn't one person or a group of people, it's just whoever happens to be browsing /b/ at the moment.
