Depends on what kind of thread it is. There are a few threads that I wouldn't mind being bumped.
Why do people make such great threads in the GD. All this quality and effort being put into making a decent thread that we can all relate and/or discuss hurts my head.

Old threads can still be good, and if the bumper bumps with an actual question, then I don't care, but if they bump it with a threat to strangle me with bread, then I do care.
