I am planning a massive update to my Guide to Learning a New Language that should be up tomorrow. Here is my question to you, FPers: What language links should I include in this update? German is not up there because I have already included a crapload of links to German sites. If your language of choice isn't in the poll, please post!
Japanese, perfect my Russian, re-learn the Hebrew I forgot.
I'd like to learn German but that isn't on the list...
I dont see german on this poll :colbert:
I'm just learning Spanish.
Having a poll for this is extremely stupid.
German isn't on this list. YOU FAIL.
Working on Russian.
My dad's learning Japanese and I might start learning it too. I'm also interested in Spanish and Italian. Russian would be cool too. .. I have too much time on my hands. :sigh:
Why is English on there Broke my automerge dammit
I'm learning German, but I'm shit at it, and I should know Irish, seeing as I've been learning it for 12 years, but I'm only alright at it.
I took some German classes in high school, I would like to go back and learn it again if I could get the time.
I've been learning English for the last 16 years.
I'd love to learn Russian. Everything about the language is awesome, from the slightly-different letters, the accent... And here I am stuck with your basic English dialect.
"omg german ain't there" Please read updated OP. As for why English is there, I'm sure there may be people whose native language is not English.
I'd like to learn Russian. Fuck Spanish.
French, because being bilingual in this country can open up a ton of job opportunities, and it's in my heritage
Filipino. I work with a fair amount of them, and they learnt english, some are better than others... Which makes me want to learn a bit of their language to help facilitate communication. Plus i would like to have a second language.
Wheres irish? im sure some people would like to learn it, after over 10 years of ''learning'' it, im terrible at it.
I am learning Spanish and want to learn Russian. It sounds pretty but it's intimidating.
Why is german not on there...
Why is german not on there...
:sigh:
German, for sure. Or Russian, OR Italian--but I think it'd be hard for my tongue to wrap around the rolling of the R's.

When I was in my Junior year of highschool I thought to myself "Hey, life is too short. I'm going to learn a language that I want to learn." And so I dropped spanish and started working on Russian.
I want to learn Swedish.
Esperanto.
German, for sure. Or Russian, OR Italian--but I think it'd be hard for my tongue to wrap around the rolling of the R's.
I can't figure out how to roll my Rs, in the worst case scenario you'll just have a funny accent. Also I want to work on my Hebrew. I don't know what the words mean but I can pronounce them. I need to learn to read it without vowels too.
Sign Language :buddy:
I want to learn a bit of Russian just so I can understand what's being said on the many Russian Youtube Videos.
Ma voix est pour Français. I really wish I could finish learning. Got a full year and a half under my belt and it would be an absolute shame to lose my ground.
Wheres irish? im sure some people would like to learn it, after over 10 years of ''learning'' it, im terrible at it.
Irish isn't a language. Gaelic is. Even then, there are many different dialects.
