Dream Theater also they released the title track. It's pretty good.
And Buried Alive:
Ewww avenged...
The Buried Alive video is beautiful on 720p.
Fiction is good. God Hates Us is alright, despite having the worst title on the album. The rest is just generic A7X.
Is there anyplace we can check out songs from the album besides those two? I know some bands let you listen to the whole album on their site sometimes. Honestly I think Avenged Sevenfold is pretty good musically.
Mike Portnoy from Death Theater is the drummer on the album and on the upcoming tours.
Woah what hey really? That's...something.
I like that cover a lot for some reason..
Ewww avenged...
Isn't there some rule against trolling and the like? :| Anyway, A7X is my favorite band and I've already fallen in love with this album the same way I fell in love with Waking the Fallen and City of Evil. Their self-titled has a few great songs on it, but overall, it's... lacking something. I received my Limited Edition of Nightmare this morning in the mail and I've been listening to the album all day. Favorite tracks are Welcome to the Family, God Hates Us, Fiction, and Save Me.
I used to like a7x and saw them live a few times.. Not to say i dislike them now I still think they're semi-decent but they've kinda grown out of my taste now.

Seeing them live in November, plan on getting the album next weekend. Apparently the album is more like City of Evil than Avenged Sevenfold, which makes me sad, not to say I won't like it though, but I much prefer the stylings of the self-titled album to that of City of Evil.
I love their songs, and Nightmare is probably one of my favorites. A little piece of heaven is my favorite.
Nightmare, Buried Alive, Fiction and God Hates Us are the best tracks on this kickass record.
I used to like these guys, but their lead singer has the most annoying voice ever
I adore this new album. Every song on it I enjoy, which isn't something you can say about most albums. I'd probably say it's their best album yet.
I like Nightmare quite a bit. Buried alive is meh. I like how much darker this album is than self-titled(which I liked).
Im getting this now.
This, except I wish there were more songs like God Hates Us on it.
Agree, this album is great, some awesome songs on it but if they released a whole album like God Hates Us I would cream everywhere.
Eh, I like the title track, but I'm not a big fan of vocals that even hint at screaming. Listening to some of the others, they're pretty cool, although I don't know if I should buy it or not if I'm gonna be skipping tracks.
My friend told me that Portnoy hinted at featuring Avenged Sevenfold on Dream Theater's next album in an interview If it's true, that's going to be the best album of the year hands down. Everyone in both of those bands is incredibly talented. Haven't been able to find a source as of yet, though.
He's doing the drums, but they're The Rev's drums. The Rev wrote them, he's just playing them.
This was much better than I expected. I didn't enjoy their second single very much, because the lyrics were bad and the singing was very plain and boring. The rest of the album was good. The only thing it was lacking overall is consistency, which may be a bad thing if you are a complete fanboy of their original sound (not they play it anymore anyway, and haven't for a while) But overall this album felt like it had a refreshing experimental feel to it. Well at least experimental for them...
Is it self produced again?
