Ok everybody. Who is going? What country are you from? Maybe this can be a meetup?
I'd really love to go to this. I'm going to try at least. Coming from Scotland.

How would you imagine that to be possible...You're 15 like me and this is in Germany
Pretty cool bands anyway
I'll be 16 at the time though, so I don't need a parent to get tickets. My and my stepbro would go. Parents too though. Like on holiday. There's hotels you can stay in, outside the festival so you don't need tickets.
Like we stay in a hotel near WOA and my parents can go do shit and me and my stepbro spend the days in the festival. Only 3 days though so there'll be other stuff as well. Not really worth going abroad just for 3 days.
Oh crap!Wish I could go but couldn't for personal reasons.Based on that line-up I would go to see Airbourne, Apocalyptica & Blind Guardian.
I'll never be able to go to these until I'm at least 19.
I hope it turns out a good lineup for those of you who will go to this one.
Avantasia, Blind Guardian, and Apocalyptica. Why can't this happen in America?
Because Europe is where nearly all of the good metal bands are situated.
It'd be wrong for it to be in America.
Because no one in the US listens to power metal.
But you can't fart anywhere in Europe without hitting a power metal band.

...I listen to power metal :saddowns:
We really are such an overlooked crowd...so few people here listen to power metal. Makes me sad.
Well I live in the US and so do I, just saying it's not as common.

Age is much less of a seniority rite once you hit your country's drinking age. Nothing new or special happens after that.

There's a few of us, but not many.
I like power metal :buddy:
Goddamn, I wish I could see Blind Guardian play someday.

Where do you live? Guardian is doing a US tour soon actually >.>
I think it starts in November.
I'm going most definitely. Couldn't make it last year and a lot of my friends went this year, god damnit I hate them. They had been camped next to the slow motion zone.

Fucking sick man
If Burzum is playing this year, I'm going. Period.

From what I gather, you like nearly all music.

No shit, I just figured that they were older than me so I am suprised
Legal drinking age is merely a suggestion also :v:

...Touche.

I thought he never did live shows
He doesn't
Is there a rumour going round that he is?
Because I highly doubt he will. But still, if he did it would be great. Also he would need a live band.
Any original members of mayhem playing?
Any original members of mayhem playing?
Necrobutcher and Hellhammer. However if you want to get technical, Hellhammer is not the original drummer.
At this point, Suicidal Tendences may get me there.
Need to see more of the lineup before I decide, though.
And I'm from Norway btw.

Explain?
Sadly I'm still 17, since my birthday is in August. I'm planning to go to Wacken Open Air a few years later though with some friends!
This looks really cool, I wish I could go, the only thing stopping me is not having any money.
