A Dog Broke Into My House And I Got Him Back To his Owners - General

So tonight was just a average night, I got home from school, made dinner,went to my room to do homework. My parents were out in town listening to music so I had the whole house to my self. so I just chilled in my room, talking on vent with a good old friend telling some jokes. After awhile it got old so we signed off, parting from one another. It was thundering outside to my east, about a couple miles off, wasn't raining at my house but it would be soon. So im in my room, and im hungry, so what do i do? I get off my ass and go to the kitchen, but as I open my bed room door, I open it to find this big ass dog, hes chocolate color sort of looks like a lab. Hes pretty old, laying down, just licking his pawls, chilling, he seemed pretty happy. Poor fellow probably got scared and went in through the cat door. Thats the major mystery actually. The cat door is pretty small, nothing but a cat or a raccoon could get through. But somehow this dog did, and somehow he found away to navigate through my house and plop himself down right next to my door. I read his collar, his name was "Jamie" there was a number, so I called it and got a voice mail, was some lady, she sounded really depressed was sort of odd, so no luck there. So now I have this big unknown dog in my house, so what do i do? I take him outside. May I add i live in the country so a lot of people have dogs, and everyone keeps them outside during the day, so i figure he probably got lost and maybe I could send him on his way again. Well when i walk outside with this big dog walking behind me, I hear people calling out his name,I call out "hey I got a lost dog over here" I hear back a "thank you" and then the owner calls him with this sort of sound, I guess everyone has their own little sound they use when they want to call their dog or cat over. The dog instantly knew were to go and went straight to the owner who was down the street pretty far off. I couldn't even see the guy but somehow the dog knew right were he was. I walked out and met the guy, after spending some time finding him, shook his hand, nice guy, lived down the street. Apparently the dog had escaped through a hole in their fence, a long with another dog, which was still missing. The guy seemed sort of frantic, seeing its pitch black out, its thundering and lightning and just about to pour down cats and dogs (PUN!), so he seemed like he needed to find the other dog pretty bad, seeing he had a kid with him who was pretty upset. I wished the guy luck, nothing els I could do, but as I was walking away I saw the other dog running straight towards me and I say "hey I found the other one" and the guy was just even more gracious, I said bye once more and headed in. I got some pictures of the dog but the connector cable of my phone to my PC won't work.

This happened to me but differently, when I was walking my dog 2 small puppies started chasing her and playing around but after a while we had to go, so we started walking away and they followed us, pretty far and one of them ran the other way. I went inside and the dog lay down on the grass outside, rolling around in the wet grass, I felt sorry for it so me and my brother headed out and went the way we came back. It was following something, so we got to a hill the owner ran over the road and picked up "Paddy" and thanked us and we told him where the other dog went

I expected this to be some brutal horror story about how a pitbull broke into the OP's house and tore his shit apart, so he goes and trashes his neighbor's house. I'm not sure whether to be relieved or disappointed.
