I'd try it. I'm just a bit surprised how many they fry. I suppose they reproduce like any other bug and it's highly unlikely they would become endangered.
Despite my massive arachnophobia, I had no problem carrying a dead tarantula around that a friend brought.
So I think I might bring myself to try that.
