For all those who are anti-social and/or allergic to the 9-5, welcome. Here, we discuss our businesses, hustles, flipping schemes, and more in the endless struggle to acquire currency. Here is a list of potentially lucrative opportunities I have come across, complete with personal commentary: Amazon FBA (source from wholesalers, often Alibaba) Affiliate Marketing (either through blog or strategically purchasing ads) Blogging (quality content + ads/products) Craigslist -> Flip on Ebay (my current choice, after seeing friends have success) Creating Youtube Videos Coding/Selling SaaS Copywriting for businesses (earn commissions) Dropshipping websites (often on Shopify) Learn Foreign Languages -> Translator Masturbating on Webcam live Personal Training or Consulting (requires expertise and/or degree) Selling Android/iOS Apps (difficult due to saturated markets) Writing/Selling eBooks (often on Amazon)
Woah, I'm unemployed right now, so this could be the thread for me if I wanna make some cash! Any idea how to that in socialist sweden?

Any idea how to that in socialist sweden?
I have no idea what it's like as far as taxation, but pretty much any of the options listed in the first post are possible in any first-world country. It really depends on what you want to do or what you're good at. PewDiePie, for example, plays to his strengths (charisma), and makes millions on Youtube. He's just a random Swedish dude. Anything is possible. The reason I chose flipping is because I have a strong work ethic, but I'm not very creative. So blogging/writing/coding are generally out of the question. But ANYONE can do flipping. You simply find products at garage sales, check how much they usually sell for using your smartphone, and list lucrative opportunities on eBay. You get out of it precisely what you put in. It's entirely possible to make a living flipping. Yes, you probably won't make a top-tier income - but you also don't need to spend all of your time in an office with a boss to answer to. And if you want to fuck off for a couple days, you're free to do so - as long as you hold yourself responsible to make up for it. That freedom is worth more to me than money.
Its not my full time job but I refurbish vehicles/flip cars and fix broken stuff for fun and a little profit. If I had more available time I cant see making $1000/week out of the relm of possibility, all a matter of knowing the market, what to buy, what it takes to fix, and finding a good deal.
Lol at masturbating for webcam. The hustle is real
I am starting a screen printing service that plans to cater to local artists and small businesses. There is actually a good market for small orders (15 shits or less) because most big printing companies would rather focus on larger orders because it's not worth the setup up time. Currently learning how to use Illustrator to adjust images.
I'm interested in buy and sell, but I can't do it now, perhaps a few months later I might start. Any tips on writing / copywriting / translating / transcribing? Where to begin? Also, SaaS. I somewhat know programming, yet very little about the web and SaaS, any tips here?
All of those things are very multi-faceted. You will need to do your own research, but I'll narrow it down a bit: Writing - You can start your own blog/newsletter or contact another blog/newsletter for work. You need to refine your craft so that others will want to read your work. There's a great book called On Writing Well that has writing tips. Copywriting - You can sign up with an affiliate marketing program like ClickBank, write/publish advertisements about products, and place those ads on Google AdWords or any other website's banner ad program. You can alternatively contact local business in the Yellow Pages that may need ads written. There is a very good book called Kick-Ass Copywriting Secrets of a Marketing Rebel by John Carlton that lays out what makes a great advertisement. Translating/Transcribing - There are plenty of websites online like Proz and TranslatorsCafe that hook freelancers up with translation jobs. Selling SaaS - follows the same steps as starting any business. A book called Disciplined Entrepreneurship provides a concise overview of how that's done. For a regular software application you probably need a business partner, because there's a lot of work involved. However, if you want to make an Android or iOS app, that's easier to do by yourself because the Android and iOS app stores do a lot of the work for you. The first step is to find out what you're good at and what you like doing. It may help you to write out as many of these things as you can think of. If you don't know, then you may need to just start trying several different things. For example, writing 1000 words a day for a month, learning a foreign language, or selling some items on eBay. That should help narrow it down.
