wtf... poor doggy :(
I also have to wonder the legitimacy of this.
could this work?
maybe we could take our heads and put them onto robot bodies
Futurama, maybe?
Just put the pumps in the base and there you go!
Man, I know what I'm having happen to me when I die!
He said it only lived for a few hours.
That's kind of terrible.

There is room for improvement.
Wouldn't this hurt like shit, having no body?
Wouldn't this hurt like shit, having no body?
I dont think you would feel a thing.
But can you imagine not being able to breathe or eat? creepy.
OMG I started crying no joke :ohdear:
Poor dog :frown:
I'm pretty sure this was faked to make it seem like the Soviets were more advanced in the medical field than the rest of the world. How can you move your head with out your neck?
The amount of times this has been posted isn't even funny.
i wonder how that would feel
That dog has nothing to live for except lick orange juice off its nose.
Fuck that made me sad.
I don't see what this experiment accomplishes. It seems like a waste of life.

The only part experiencing pain would be the neck but since the only blood flow is coming from the machine and going through major veins the nerves are probably inactive and the whole head is numb.

Full video for anyone interested. It's 20 minutes long.

It proves that complex organisms can live without bodies.
That's pretty damn impressive.
the dog is dead... leave it like that and move on and never play god....
Op will volunteer himself to be first person to have this done to a human. and i be pleased to cut of his head

Setting aside the fact that this is quite fake...
I do recall hearing about soldiers who lost limbs having ghost sensations. Since the ability to feel those parts of your body is technically governed by the brain, it would still be possible to feel them for awhile after they were gone.
I'm pretty sure the past 6 times this was posted it was proven fake.

The fuck are you talking about?
Poor dog, it's probably wondering why it's still alive.
that's terrible
i mean on the picture the dog just doesn't give a fuck but in real life you see its miserable :(
man thats sickening, but i think as a species we need to get past those feelings for the greater good of science, what would happen if we didnt conduct tests like this ?
