oh and everything is oversaturated and cartoony as fuck. i hate gray/brown gritty realistic miltech porn shooters but i got sick of overdone colors, lens flares and bloom in Crysis 2 and seriously, they could have conserved the color palette in this a little. no, wait, not a little, A LOT

well obviously because it's the goddamn Cryengine, but the color palette is spot on
That scene with the M4A1 firing was unimpressive and stale at best.
If they made it on the CryEngine 3 like that mod above it would be freaking amazing.
i'm not even sure which shots in the trailer are up to date, because the part with the turrets seemingly has footage both from old and new builds (looking at the muzzle flash)

While i would love for this to be amazing, it looks pretty bad. Honestly.
In the shot you only see for a fraction of a second at :57, it looks like that dude holding the smartgun or whatever has his elbow bent inwards.
Looks like utter garbage. Im not a huge alien fan so I guess I can see this clear.
Voice actor was horrible, graphics look like XBox 360 in its early days and the gameplay looks like the same old shooter shit.
maybe ellen ripley is in the game?
I still have a shred of hope for this game.
I'm getting this, played the MP at multi-player and even playing as the Marines I had such a fun time. We even won against the Devs (who were playing Aliens).
I'm going to be very cautious about this one, despite the fact that I love the franchise.

Likewise. While the singleplayer might turn out to be boring and generic, the multiplayer is an absolute blast. Teamwork is [I]vital[/I] to winning and both sides require their own tactics: marines need to stay as a pack and utilise the heartbeat monitor as much as possible; while the aliens have to surround the marines and swarm them together. There is no going solo in this game.
