The thing is, I can't tell if he's actually just pulling off a satire, or if he's serious. So I guess if it really is all an act, then he's doing a fairly fine job.
My general rule is that anyone past 40 is too old to have an understanding of the internet great enough to troll properly.

I agree, but I don't know if that necessarily means he is trolling. A lot of old time preachers like to get a rise out of non-believers, whatever faith they may be.

I am going to say I think it is all a joke and a poke at Christians. Look on the wall for any pictures of Christ or any other paraphernalia that would suggest that there is any sort of religion in there. If he were really running that joint, which he sorta must be, being that he and the cameraman have access, then the walls would be covered with Jesus crap.
