I can't criticize journalists for being journalists, I guess. I never said they were bad at their jobs, I just find it difficult to respect people in that field of work.

I was trying to imply that I don't share your particular views on the subject, and looking through the accomplishments of the individuals that were posted, I could see how would one come to respect said individuals. Looking back, the post turned out a lot more snarky than I intended, and I apologize for that.
Well that's just bullshit, I don't get how people could get butthurt over something like that. If they carefully read the article instead of just seeing "easy" and "girlfriend mode" near each other, they'd have different reactions.

You shouldn't find it that difficult. Being a journalist is pretty damn respectable as an ideal. Freedom of information is important as is free press.

You've got no idea what you're talking about. I doubt you even know what a journalist is. There are many fields that journalists work in, and in the more extreme fields such as war journalism they fucking risk their lives to get word out about peoples' plight. Unless you actually think that people who work as journalists are all evil for some derived reason (seriously why would you) you've probably got some idea that all journalists are sensationalist people? Otherwise you are wrong and shouldn't post. Sorry.
