One of the best documentaries I've seen. I strongly advise you to see it entirely. It goes through military developments throughout history(from roman times to wars as recent as iraq/afghan wars) , from logistics to weaponry to food.
Some memorable scenes are the prussian massing 80k soldiers via trains whilst the french were still in war preparations(so they had yet to deploy troops) and an interesting comparison of roman-time food preservation techniques; some though olive oil, salting/smoking/etc. to the modern 300grams vacum packed curry rice rations and dehydrated foods, ready to be heated in 10minutes anywhere with bars of magnesium, water cleaning tablets, and even sandviches that last 2 years.
Must watch it later. It could come in very handy, because you just never know when you will have to lead an army into war.
Is there a way to watch it online or is it on netflix? it looks interesting
