Adding a sense of believe-ability really amplifies the visceral intensity and choreography of fight scenes
I see alot of movies where fighting techniques have no 'weight' to them. Like for instance if someone does a dropkick and they don't land on their feet, thats going to hurt and they aren't going to get back up immediately. The whole cliche of seemingly being invulnerable to pain and having limitless stamina is stupid as shit and makes fight scenes look incredibly fake and boring
Its the little things like staggering and flinching and being winded from a long fight that makes fighting actually look like real fighting
