That's really fucking cool, but i don't see how you're meant to walk anywhere using this system unless you have treadmills or a REALLY huge room to play it in.
Would kind of ruin any sense of immersion this gives you if you have to run on the spot.

It's annoying, but how does it ruin the technology? Why do people always act like this? Only when just about every single kinect game on the market is anime shit like this will it have ruined it. One tech demo doesn't ruin anything.

Hmm...if you made something like a treadmill, only rather than it being motorised, it is moved by you walking on it, that would be better than walking on the spot. You'd still have to use a button for turning, though.
