Oh god now i remember Ace Ventura, Jr. exists.
I like how the critic is focusing on sketch comedy, it's really livening up his reviews.
That was annoying to watch.

The sketches are literally the worst part of the reviews.
It's a little better. I would rather just have a review.
it was fine
Holy shit that intro was hilarious. I'll admit I haven't been a fan of the new segues featuring the old cast of Demo Reel but this one was perfect and how it lead to The Nostalgia Critic was comedic genius.
You guys have outdone yourselves with this video. Can't wait for the next.
As much as I love the nostalgia critic, his fan-base isn't so great.
Yeah, please ditch the sketch.
I have a theory that he's only keeping the Demo Reel sketch guys around because they were hired for DR purposes only, which lasted about three episodes. He probably just doesn't want to fire them out of feeling like a dick.

Yeah, and that makes their presence on the show really awkward. I kinda want them to leave, but I kinda don't want them to either because that would be a dick move.
The saying "Between a rock and a hard place" springs to mind.
EDIT: Okay, when Jaime Kenedy asks the kid to say "dada" and he replies "Mother" in that deep voice, that actually kinda made me laugh.
I hated this abomination of a movie. This'll be good.
I thought it was a pretty good review by Doug.
Don't know what to think of the little sketches in between but I am impressed that he has managed to turn around the show in many regards and make it a lot better than what it was before he decided to stop it for a while.
As for the Demo Reel actors, I didn't watch that show so I can't really say much about them, but I think they're pretty good in their own way and I hope they get a show or spot on TGWTG and we can see what pushes their talents and abilities to the limits.
I thought it was one of his better reviews. Although I did find it ironic that he made a bunch of jokes about the dance scene that went on too long, and followed it up with a 5 minute irrelevant skit.
Easily one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my entire life
I struggle to remember a worse movie
The Mask was such a great movie on its own
WHY
-snip-
I see the shoestring budget sketches as part his trademark you'll either like or hate, kinda like AVGN's over-the-top swearing.
As long as the sketches continue to improve I don't mind them so much. They're not good, but they're no longer as cringe inducing. What I really want gone is that fucking obnoxious and overly dramatic intro, it clashes with the comedic tone of the reviews and just takes up more of my time. You have a catchphrase, that and that dance you do in your seat is your intro, you don't need another one.

This line made it for me when I watched the movie as a kid:
white chicks, postal and every game adaptation by uwe bole, movie 43, paranormal activity and its sequels, skyline, ted, the dictator, bruno, live action yogi bear, the last airbender, resident evil 2 and the rest of its sequels
oh and
american psycho 2 and its upcoming sequel
Well I thank my lucky stars I haven't seen most of those
I do remember watching Yogi Bear though
eugh
That was filled with terrible cringey CG crap too
