Oh, I was genuinely expecting this to be an early tech-demo sort of side game that would come out earlier to show off game concepts, not actually part of the main game

just to reiterate, this is a comedy bit. he didn't come back because in his words, everyone thought it was real and he was crazy and square enix never backed him up when he said it was comedy so now he has beef with them.

he also disagreed with the subject matter of the game. he's not a fan of augmentation or futurization in real life but honestly it's surprising considering the next game basically kicks augs in the teeth.
and that he did the previous game already
His part was so small it was just going to be a one day recording session for a "measly" 400 dollars, apparently. He turned it down.
