Different armies, but this type of thing has gone on for a long time, just different songs and dances. You do what you can to keep morale up and music is usually good at that.
I like how the ones guys named Tallman and hes the tallest.

I think in one of the world wars, on Christmas there was a cease fire and the Britian or some Allie soliders from a country played soccer against the enemy

There was a movie made about this. WW1, both sides agreed to an unofficial cease fire and traded gifts and food and had a good time, then the next day, went back to killing each other

A dude did this with a firework launcher once. Had it pointed the wrong way and it went off.
