This is looking really fucking good if you ask me, they nailed the athmosphere.
The style is so odd with old steel beast aesthetic and yet modern-ish controls and such, I love this.
Vehicle sims is where VR in its current form will fucking shine, I'm surprised this is the first one I've heard of so far
This is why i would want VR (or at least one of the reasons), now add many buttons that i can press and control and i would be a very happy man. Besides also bumping the price of VR down to like 500$

that tinnitus is sexy and terrifying
Other than the footstep sounds getting really old really quick that looks fucking awesome.
VR Mechwarrior when complete with an expensive neurohelmet-shaped goggles+phones gimmick
Just imagine a submarine vr sim with decent headsets :v:.
You mean Ironwolf?
VR Mechwarrior when complete with an expensive neurohelmet-shaped goggles+phones gimmick
We're halfway there, just gotta get one that uses the VR hand controls instead of a controller.
I might need to get a vive now. I kinda want an actual tank sim though. I'd love to operate a ww2 tank sim with my buddies, hand cranking the turret and all that.

Now imagine a Star Wars VR game like this where you command an AT-AT or AT-ST during the Battle of Hoth. my FUCKING DICK
I hope VR brings back sims, I've missed them.

FYI apparently they have multicrew ones planned as well.
reminds me of that one kinect game except actually good
From Soft's Steel battalion?
From Soft's Steel battalion?
My one wish is for that game to work on PC with some VR set.
we konflikt 47 now [t]http://www.beastsofwar.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Spinne-Model.jpg[/t] Real talk though DCS with a vive would be the single best thing in my life, using the mouse to hit switches his annoying even with trackir
Vehicle sims is where VR in its current form will fucking shine, I'm surprised this is the first one I've heard of so far
DCS World and Elite Dangerous are great examples of cockpit VR games
Okay now I REALLY want a VR kit.
wait so is this like a dieselpunk ww1 set in 1949 or a dieselpunk ww2 set in 1949?
wait so is this like a dieselpunk ww1 set in 1949 or a dieselpunk ww2 set in 1949?
Off the assumption of the target being shot at in the video was a T-34-85, the latter.
Off the assumption of the target being shot at in the video was a T-34-85, the latter.
And the fact that the video takes place at Stalingrad (since the city wasn't called that during WW1) :v:
When he hammered down the blast shields or whatever those were, it was awesome. I keep waiting to buy the Vive, telling myself it's bound to drop in price soon. Now it's gotten to the point where I've waited so long, I worry that buying it now will just end up being dumb since the Vive 2.0 or something will release (is there even gonna be a Vive 2.0?).
