...the attempt by digital natives within the Coalition to get ahead of the game has backfired with Labor openly mocking the bizarre strategy.
Anyone who types in the address “Abbott lies’’ is now redirected to an image of Joe Hockey beaming behind a banner that urges readers to “lean more’ about the 2014 budget. The abbottlies.com.au web traffic is immediately diverted to www.liberal.org.au
According to domain registry documents the website was registered by the Liberal Party of Australia on May 13, the same day that Joe Hockey delivered his first budget.
Labor leader Bill Shorten said the decision of the Liberal Party to register the domain name Abbottlies.com.au was a spectacular own goal.
First they introduce a policy on data retention which they themselves couldn't properly explain and now it's revealed they tried to counter their opposition by doing their job for them :v:
Ohhhh how I wish they would just call a fucking double dissolution

Not going to happen.
I do hope, however, that this makes people more aware of this party and it's stupid decisions.

if anything, breaking the government up so early will only cause a loss of efficiency in parliament, not to mention most likely another hung parliament and unnecessary financial losses incurred with that for an alternative which is just as shitty.

But if you consider the severity of some of the policies maybe it's better to take that hit if 1. most of the policies of the liberal party aren't being implemented because of opposition 2. those that do get through will be repealed or altered in some form if they lose the next election 3. the likelihood that as time goes on more policies do slowly get implemented and not all the "bad" policies will end up being repealed. I think we'd be in a better situation if we cut our losses now.
But it won't happen.

Sorry, but you'd end up with a lesser of two evils.
At least the other alternative doesn't have policies this ridiculous
