Its stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are also listed in the "worst screen couple" category. Critically-reviled blockbuster Battleship received seven nominations. Among them was worst supporting actress for pop star Rihanna, who made her acting debut as a US Navy Seal in the film, which was based on the classic grid-based boardgame. Other notable nominations included actor-director Tyler Perry, who was cited for worst actor and worst actress - thanks to his cross-dressing role in Madea's Witness Protection. Comedian Adam Sandler won both categories last year, for playing a twin brother and sister in Jack and Jill. His latest film, bad-taste comedy That's My Boy, picked up eight nominations in this year's shortlist. The Razzies committee also put forward "any two cast members" from MTV reality show Jersey Shore for worst screen couple in the Three Stooges movie - based on the cult US comedy act. The culmination of the Twilight movie franchise, which tells the story of a human girl who falls in love with a sullen vampire, fared relatively well with critics but the Razzies claimed it had sucked the life out of cinemas. The previous three films have all been nominated for Razzie awards, but have not come away with any of the major prizes. However, it is thought the annual awards bash has been waiting for the finale to heap its scorn on the franchise - as a parallel to the way the Oscars waited for the final Lord Of The Rings film before awarding it best picture. "That's the analogy we're making, that this is the Razzies' flipside," said Razzies founder John Wilson. "This is our equivalent to The Lord of the Rings. It's our members' last chance to razz Twilight." A spoof of the Academy Awards, the Razzies announcement arrived a day before Thursday's Oscar nominations. This year's winners will be announced on 23 February, the night before the Oscar show. The full list of nominees is as follows: Worst Picture • Battleship • The Oogieloves in Big Balloon Adventure • That's My Boy • A Thousand Words • The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II Worst Director • Sean Anders - That's My Boy • Peter Berg - Battleship • Bill Condon - The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II • Tyler Perry - Good Deeds / Madea's Witness Protection • John Putch - Atlas Shrugged: Part II Worst Actress • Katherine Heigl - One for the Money • Milla Jovovich - Resident Evil: Retribution • Tyler Perry - Madea's Witness Protection • Kristen Stewart - The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II / Snow White and the Huntsman • Barbra Streisand - The Guilt Trip Worst Actor • Nicolas Cage - Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance / Seeking Justice • Eddie Murphy - A Thousand Words • Robert Pattinson - The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II • Tyler Perry - Alex Cross / Good Deeds • Adam Sandler - That's My Boy Worst Supporting Actress • Jessica Biel - Playing For Keeps / Total Recall • Brooklyn Decker - Battleship / What to Expect When You're Expecting • Ashley Greene - The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II • Jennifer Lopez - What to Expect When You're Expecting • Rihanna - Battleship Worst Supporting Actor • David Hasselhoff - Pirannha 3-DD • Taylor Lautner - The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II • Liam Neeson - Battleship / Wrath of the Titans • Nick Swardson - That's My Boy • Vanilla Ice - That's My Boy Worst Screen Ensemble • Battleship • The Oogieloves in Big Balloon Adventure • That's My Boy • The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II • Madea's Witness Protection Worst Screenplay • Atlas Shrugged Part II • Battleship • That's My Boy • A Thousand Words • The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II Worst Remake, Rip-Off, or Sequel • Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance • Pirannha 3-DD • Red Dawn • The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II • Madea's Witness Protection Worst Screen Couple • Any two cast members from Jersey Shore in The Three Stooges • Mackenzie Foy and Taylor Lautner in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II • Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II • Tyler Perry and his drag in Madea's Witness Protection • Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg, Leighton Meester, or Susan Sarandon in That's My Boy
Cage wasn't that bad in Ghost Rider. The directors just have no idea how to make a movie and their style revolves around circling with roller skates and extreme close ups.

It would seem that he just doesn't care at all about what movies he is in since for every good movie that he stars in, there are like five bad ones.
He just picks movies that give him a lot of money, since he's literally addicted to buying real estate.
Ooh, this one is going to be hard to choose.
That's My Boy is infinitely worse than any Twilight movie (or anything on that list rather) [editline]16th January 2013[/editline] It should win every award it's been nominated for

Or maybe it was all the time like that.
You know what would be cool? If the razzies made the production staff realize that their movies sucked. That happened with Showgirls, and the included drinking game makes the DVD version brilliant.

adam sandler's gunna go home taking a few more of these badboys home if i was him i'd just get the razzies to mail my trophy to me
Piranha 3DD was amazing. I think it was actually the funniest movie I've seen all year. I don't think I've ever seen a worse, more hilarious movie.
Wait, did people not like Return of the King? EDIT: or is the title implying Return of the King is on the same level of the other end of the spectrum of quality
Wait, did people not like Return of the King? EDIT: or is the title implying Return of the King is on the same level of the other end of the spectrum of quality
It's the latter.
Wait, did people not like Return of the King? EDIT: or is the title implying Return of the King is on the same level of the other end of the spectrum of quality
The article is implying that Breaking Dawn is the nadir to RoTK's zenith.
Worst Screen Couple • Any two cast members from Jersey Shore in The Three Stooges
Hilarious, and true.
Breaking Dawn wasn't that bad. It is certainly not the worst picture at least.
Worst Actor • Nicolas Cage - Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance / Seeking Justice razzies invalidated
The Oogieloves in Big Balloon Adventure, when I was forced to watch that shit trailers and then it said "From the MARKETING minds of teletubies" I knew it was going to be shit. And I was right.
Good deed's wasn't a bad movie, I thought Tyler Perry was alright in it. It's just that fucking smirk he has
What the hell, cage is the best actor in all of existence. This list offends me.
Wait, did people not like Return of the King? EDIT: or is the title implying Return of the King is on the same level of the other end of the spectrum of quality
In 2004 Return of the King won 11 out of 24 Oscars, winning every category in which it was nominated and tying with Ben Hur and Titanic for the most Oscars ever received by a film Breaking Dawn is probably going to something similar at the Razzies

jeez, I know battleship didn't really fit with the critic's movie "no fun allowed" rule, but it wasn't bad at all.

Wait what? There's an Atlas Shrugged Part II? Jesus...
Wait what? There's an Atlas Shrugged Part II? Jesus...
Bear in mind, it's Atlas Shrugged being made into 3 movies to encompass the whole book. [editline]17th January 2013[/editline]
Worst Supporting Actor • David Hasselhoff - Pirannha 3-DD
Oh no they di'nt!
jeez, I know battleship didn't really fit with the critic's movie "no fun allowed" rule, but it wasn't bad at all.
It was horrendously bad. You could have filmed two people actually playing the board game for 2 hours and it would have a hundred times better.
It was horrendously bad. You could have filmed two people actually playing the board game for 2 hours and it would have a hundred times better.
this opinion can only be formed if you judge the movie expecting a modern day citizen Kane
