The hell is that she's wearing. She looks like she's straight out of Mass Effect.
Christ, seven more months of campaigning? This is almost as bad as the US election was. Please retire after this Abbot.
It's a tough call. Gillard is a useless moron and Abbot is a dangerous conservative moron. I'd like to see neither in power
Well, it's either crushing disappointment or alcoholism for this election
Just putting this out there.. If Malcolm Turnbull were to become leader of the opposition, I'd vote liberal.
Just putting this out there.. If Malcolm Turnbull were to become leader of the opposition, I'd vote liberal.
It's honestly a huge shame they dumped him so early, didn't even give him a chance I reckon.
Dear lord, 7 and a half months of this...
Great. 7 months of shit put everywhere that i dont even care about. They both are as bad as each other. Gillard is a *little* better for actually wanting the NBN.
why all the hate with tony abbot, is all the Gillard propaganda getting to you? or do you have a female friend saying he is sexist? tony abbot truly is a great man and i will vote liberal, oh and also i have met tony abbot in person he toke the time to talk to me :) lets get rid of Gillard before she becomes the last dictator.

I see this all the time for parliamentary elections but, what determines when an election is? Is it the decision of the majority party to call the election for earlier than the allotted term? Or is she announcing it for a day that is exactly at the end of the parliaments term?
Just putting this out there.. If Malcolm Turnbull were to become leader of the opposition, I'd vote liberal.
I don't even know why he's a part of the Libs, he doesn't share any of their views

You cannot beat high speed fibre-optic cables for net as the packets are travelling at the speed of light -- The only issue of speed is in the encoding and decoding of data at either end.
"the only reason she wants the nbn is so she can control the internet of Australia, gotta love dictators."
Is the only reason the government owns the roads is so that they can close them as well? Infrastructure on a national level, is best left to the hands of a democratic system; labor aren't all powerful, the approval of the upper house is necessary! It's a lot better than having the nations infrastructure privatized, in such a way that the company can charge us and remove/control use at it's discretion in an undemocratic way.
I think Tony Abbot is better just because he's dumber and it's much easier to tell if he's lying than if Gillard is lying.
Can someone explain to me how this works? Does the Prime Minister call when a election is? Is that all elections, or are there elections that are known at all times when they are going to happen?
I personally don't like the way labour is run with the factions controlling their views and I also don't like how they backstabbed Kevin Rudd (fun fact: my brother recently met his son in china), also another thing is the cuts to the defence force, I want to join the ADF so I don't want shitty training cause the labour government made cuts to compensate for their expenditures plus my brother met their campaign manager at latrobe last year (brother is doing bachelor of arts on politics or something) and he says they are like snakes in a sense and are kinda shady.
Just putting this out there.. You should see him when the Chaser chase him down
Technically, the PM could choose not to call an election, staying in power forever, but the Queen would eventually fire her and force an election
In Canada there's a maximum amount of time between elections, or you can call another one whenever, or if you have a minority the opposition can force one Is it the same there?
In Canada there's a maximum amount of time between elections, or you can call another one whenever, or if you have a minority the opposition can force one Is it the same there?
Unfortunately not. But as I said, the Queen (technically the Governor General) can force an election. For example, in the 70s, there was a minority government that couldn't pass anything, so they forced an election. The PM can also call an election early which is what happened after our last PM got booted by his own party
We should vote for the Australian sex party
he has a snese of humour though, unlike the rest of our Pollies. You should see him when the Chaser chase him down
Perhaps they should change question time to stand up hour, then we'll start getting people who like a joke
We should vote for the Australian sex party
Sex party are getting my second preferential. I'm voting Liberal Democratic Party first. They're classic liberal. They're not perfect, but they're more perfect than the major parties
Perhaps they should change question time to stand up hour, then we'll start getting people who like a joke
question time is the equivalent of watching gorillas throwing shit at each other in the zoo [editline]30th January 2013[/editline] ORDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
If they want me to register I'll write in *Gorilla* on everything and send it back
I'm not even getting the NBN, mainly because the seat I live in is not a swinging seat (labor has a solid grip) and they don't give a fuck about us then. I'd rather vote liberal for the party to help make the seat for my area classified as swinging, so we might actually be considered for the NBN rollout. I'm not voting for Tony Abbott, I'm voting for the party and to help my local seat.
im voting green, legalise medical pot
