Don't like 90% of mainstream artists write songs with "special meanings"
What do you mean the best band you've never heard of, everyone's heard of them and they're terrible
Hardcore?
HAHAHAHA
Still I do like them.

by that you mean nu metal right
by that you mean nu metal right
They're not Nu Metal.
Used to love them but over the years that's kinda died down and I thought their latest album was just plain boring
nu pop punk
Rise Against is Pop Punk, they're also not that great, and they're really popular.
Best band you never heard of is probably "Television", just my opinion though.
You realise Reinventing Axl Rose is on every bloody "Essential Punk" list ever right?
Not to mention they had a song on Guitar Hero 3, so yeah, I would say most people have heard of them.
You mean Rise Against The Machine.
I'd just call them Rock. Fucking new found glory is pop punk, not this shit

But yeah, I've never heard of them.
Love Rise Against, but really OP, if you're going to call them hardcore or punk at least include their older shit where they kinda were.
This is my favorite of theirs

I've got sufferer and the witness.
Eh.
Wow thanks OP I was looking for new music!
I think OP is one of the people that only just found out about anything less than completely mainstream. This is the only way I can see how could you call them "unheard of". They had their songs included in at least 2 video games that I know of, by now.
I liked this one song that was included on Need For Speed Underground 2, but that's about it.
these guys remind me a lot of the Offspring
OP, give me your time machine.

I hated that one.
sucks
I feel their first album was the best, next two were still good but not an improvement, then it picked up a little on the latest album, nowhere as good as the first though.
Theres a song off appeal to reason that I really liked... But I forgot it.
I decided to try them out recently and got their album "Revoloutions per Minute". I like it but I won't be getting another one of their albums.

lol OP thinking he's into some underground punk band when really he's listening to pop music.
lol op
but in all seriousness they've turned to shit over the years imo

Maybe I wouldn't know who they were if I didn't play Tony Hawk's Underground for thirty minutes.
