Presenting Jeff Buckley, A.K.A the most tragic musician of the '90s:

He was an alternative rock/folk musician born in 1966, and came from Anaheim, California.
His first and only complete studio album, "Grace", was released in 1994. His most famous song is his cover of "Hallelujah", but the rest of this album is amazing. Favourites of mine are "Mojo Pin" and "Corpus Christi Carol" (another cover).

Unfortunately, in 1997 while he and his accompanying band were in the process of touring and recording Jeff's second album (to be titled "My Sweetheart The Drunk"), he was swimming in the Wolf River in Memphis, he encountered complications and drowned.
Shortly after his death, his mother and some members of his band compiled the unfinished album tracks onto a double album called "Sketched For My Sweetheart The Drunk". Despite being called incomplete, I personally think the tracks on it sound as good as finished.

What's weird is that most people remember him as all youthful in the photos of him, yet were he still alive he'd be older than my parents.
Anyone else a fan?
Jeff Buckley's music is amazing.
Rest in Peace.
His father, Tim Buckley, was also a fantastic artist.
Rest in Peace.
Both very young when they died.
