What does MGS1 have to do with Ford at all? Why MGS of all things? Like did they marketing team just put a bunch of random games/films in a hat and pull one out.

I like the idea of these commercials. You can either create a generic car commercial that everybody kinda sorta ignores, or you can really bring it home with a very specific audience.
It's really showing me the benefits of a Focus.
Ford knows that the thousands I have spent on video games could have gone towards a car instead. I wouldn't be surprised if it's their dream to wallow in the clammy, disposable income of NEETs

Funny enough i was just looking for a new car, i think i just found it, i hope the handsfree addon in the car comes with a codec sound whenever someone calls you.
