Hey Facepunch,
So I've played my fair share of horror games over the years & they've all varied in terms of scariness & creepy factors but this one takes the cake for me so far.
This is an episode of my Let's Play on Penumbra Black Plague, a game made by the same developers as Amnesia The Dark Descent which was a fairly scary game in itself.
I've just started this & it's probably one of the scariest moments I've experienced in any horror game. ( particularly between 5:42 & 8:00 )

I'm going to try to finish this game fairly soon & I'd appreciate any feedback regarding my commentary & the video overall, good or bad!
If anyone has some suggestions for other games, horror or not please let me know! :)

I made a Let's Play of this game a couple of years ago too, even finished it as well. Though after a while I realized how shit it was and deleted the whole thing.
Yours is somewhat better though, good luck with it.

It's a great game, Penumbra Overture was good also, but i didn't really like Penumbra Requiem.

Hmm, well I've already completed my Let's Play on Overture ( Scary as fuck aswell ).
I haven't played or researched up on Requiem yet, would you say it's at least scary & worth doing a series on?

It does continue and finish the penumbra story line though. So if you're interested in that, it's probably worth it.

If you do make any money, use it to change RaptorBlackz's title.
I dunno, I played one of the Penumbra games (Don't remember which), and it wasn't scary at all, particularly because once you got the hang of combat, you could really kill anything in your way. I ended up getting bored of it, zombie dogs just don't scare me.
You shouldn't skip the diaries/notes/whatever, they're useful especially in Amnesia to help get you into the game.
Perhaps you could read them and edit it out?

That's the first one yeah, in Black Plague there is no combat.
Haha wow, that was bloody fantastic. I love your voice and it's actually funny when you get scared because it doesn't feel forced, it feels genuine.
I remember when you commented on my Metro 2033 playthrough and said you'd do one. And each episode has like as many hits as my whole series.

I remember your metro 2033 vids, good stuff. I really enjoy your lets plays as you manage to be funny without forcing it like many other youtubers would.

Oh god, nice, I got all tense just watching it, just want you to know, when you undergo chase scenes in Frictional games like that, I feel your pain.
My solution to that is to matador the enemies, just jump around screaming about being a fearless El Matador. And like what you did, throw boxes at them yelling "I'm winning!"
