So I'm writing and illustrating a children's book targeted at 1-5 year olds , I've had the idea in my head for a very long time. And have been meaning to do this for ages.
A good family friend of ours works for a large children's book publishers here in the UK, and has been suggesting to do this for ages so I already have my foot in the door with this project.
I'll give you a low down on the story; Dover is a lucid dreaming dog who saves up all of his happy thoughts for his 'dreamland' where magical things happen, he can talk in his dreams and there are singing elephants and other crazy shit. I've written about 6 pages so far, writing a children's book isn't as easy as it sounds.
left hand page will be the written story and the right page the illustration
