He has some amazing points (again). I am proud to be an Omni-gamer as he says, haha!
I have an xbox for games like Red Dead Redemption and Assassin's creed. And my PC for everything else.

Same, except I use my PS3 more often. The PS3 has much better exclusives (IMO) and hardware power.
PC for everything non-console.
The first quote speaks wisdom
I don't hate consoles in general, I just hate FPS games (Halo, Call of Duty) on consoles. The one and only way to play an FPS is with a keyboard and a mouse. How else am I supposed to aim? I mean, seriously now, with one of those wonky sticks? No thank you.
I actually like the controls on CoD, but that's really they have going for them though.
Most of his points are good except saying that consoles are cheaper.
While the console itself is cheaper the games themselves are about 20-30% more expensive.
A Modern PC Will last longer than any console in game performance, in fact the current gen consoles are holding the potential back making it cheaper for us because we don't have to buy new hardware.
In Australia, where I Live, Console games are about $110-$120 new here, PC Games are $70-80.
In the long term it will end up cheaper, you also have platforms like steam with super cheap titles.

Actually, you are wrong about that. He mentioned used-games as a viable way to get cheap games, which you overlooked. Not only that, but I know many good cheap Xbox and PS3 games out there on release day. Not only that there is XBLA and PSN Store were you can get many small titles for a good price. For a good well powered PC it costs somewhere between $600 to over $1000, you are paying for eight entire FULL games plus an Xbox when you do that. It takes a damn while to make that money up.
I have a 360.
It's just that I can't remember when's the last time I've played a game on it.
It's just too much hassle. The controller is horrible for all the gametypes I play and the games I play aren't even on the 360.

But you can get cheap, used games for PC. Not only that but for the 360 you must also pay for the use of their online service, another cost that brings it closer to the total cost of the PC. (PS3 doesn't really count here because PSN is free but then the PS3 itself is more expensive).
imo it pretty much balances out and the simple fact that I end up spending pretty much the same amount per year on gaming as all my console gaming friends is evidence for that.
Racing games and most third person I play in my Xbox. Also exclusives.
I disagree with him about the soundtrack sales. I'd rather you get the soundtrack for free considering you've already bought the game, and the soundtrack is already on the disc/download. There's nothing stopping you from opening the game's files and extracting the music anyway.
IMO I uses my PS3 for the exclusive titles and my PC for "casual" titles, such as games developed for console and PC.
About the controller, I belive it's just what you're used to, all the hate bout this is uneccesary tbh.

I don't think you should get music for free just because you own media it was used in. You don't get film soundtracks for buying the DVD.
He's talking about gaming PCs as if they all cost $3000-5000, which is completely wrong.
Valve is going to right direction with the soundtracks, Portal 2 ones are free to download and there will be 3 packs with about 20 songs in each if i remember correctly.

A modern gaming PC with everything (Tower + everything inside of it, monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers/headphones) will generally cost $1,000 or so. Still more expensive than a $300 console.

Consoles aren't even $300 these days.
There isn't an argument to be had price wise. Like he said you can buy a console for the same or half the price of a decent piece of PC gaming hardware.

Then why not just hook it up like you would with a console, to your TV?
Tadaa, you just saved yourself ~ 300-400 dollars.
And you can build a PC* for around 500 dollars that's still vastly superior to the consoles.
But sure, consoles are alot easier to use, seeing as they need practically no maintenance, are basically just plug n' play, plus, they're a couple of hundred dollars cheaper. But I enjoy working with computers, and that's why I'm a PC gamer.
* As in, the tower+components, nothing else.
The cost effected thing is kind of invalid. You can get a $300 PC and buy a GTX 550, which is around $100. It can play games 2-3x better than the consoles.
