Jesus Christ that's absurdly dangerous, if that lorry braked even remotely quickly they'd be fucked. Still fucking awesome though
I think the driver is in on it. Notice how around 1:35 he pulls over and gives a thumbs up? Clearly making the driver aware they're good or whatever Still, pretty fucking awesome
It's gotta be super unstable going those speeds with that little grip.

Look at 4:15.
Yeah the guy on the left loses the slipstream at 4:15. You can really see how much difference it makes.
My legs have turned to rubber just watching this.
How did speed wobble not affect them? I think that would be the biggest thing.
Those bikes look quite high end too, you can pay thousands of dollars for good road bikes.

The power of Metallica was keeping them safe.
yes rip guy he slowed down a little
what does that mean? he doesnt seem to imply that escaping a slipstream would break your legs or whatever like the other guy
what does that mean? he doesnt seem to imply that escaping a slipstream would break your legs or whatever like the other guy
rip means rest in peace
What a fucking idiot. Guy on the right 120km/h with no helmet? He's just asking to die.
What a fucking idiot. Guy on the right 120km/h with no helmet? He's just asking to die.
Ehm, a helmet would do little if you fall at 124 kph bro. Props to the balls these guys have, fastest I've done was 60 and that was downhill.

Helmets actually do protect quite well against hard falls on especially fragile parts of the head.
Sure It will do little, but it will help, and give someone a good chance. It doesn't do shit at these speeds. It will crack open and so will your head, also don't forget about trauma to the neck.

Helmets aren't just for impacts, y'all.
If you fall over and slide along the road at that speed only thing left of your body is the helmet.
If you fall over and slide along the road, it'll help a lot, though. Helmets aren't just for impacts, y'all.
Exactly, and most of the time when you come off a bike it's not going to be in a wall/fence/car if you're doing highway riding. Any motorbike rider will tell you how important helmets are, and myself, I've fallen off mine a few times and slid along the ground and felt lucky to be alive when my helmet scraped on the tarmac instead of my godamned head. Sure if you hit a fucking wall at that speed with a helmet on you'll die, but in certain situations it can totally save you.
If you fall over and slide along the road at that speed only thing left of your body is the helmet.
Motorcyclists frequently survive that sort of stuff, and stuff much faster. Yes, they have protective clothing to aid them, but it's not a death sentence right away, and a helmet makes it a hell of a lot more survivable.
Funny thing is my dad used to do this sport and done this shit before or so he told me. Its nuts thought, Then again hes a racing pilot now in gt3 classes so he sure loves his speed.
My physics teacher did the same thing when he was much younger in the sixties. He said that if the truck him and his friend were following stopped for a moment he'd become it's new bumper. :v:
Surprising amount of people here that have no clue what they're talking about. You won't die going 70. I haven't yet, surprisingly. At any speed, if you know what you're doing and not being a donger, you'll be alright. This is super cool of these guys.
