Good christ, those lifters are absolutely HUGE. This thing is an absolute beast, I can only imagine hand-building something like this. The fucking thing spits fire like crazy, it looks terrifying! [editline]28th December 2015[/editline] I mean, shit, what does the distributor look like for a car that old? How do they manage timing? What's the fuel system look like? So many questions

Distributor is probably a simple version of what's found in cars from the fifties.
Pointing out the obvious again?
Not very obvious for most people, go take a nap grumpass. (User was banned for this post ("rude" - Orkel))
Pointing out the obvious again?
I mean considering, flathead engines were more common at the time it isn't unreasonable to point out the valve train.
Not very obvious for most people, go take a nap grumpass.
(I was just joking, I didn't understand a word he said)
Wonder what it would score on an emissions test...
i see your darracq and raise you a fiat s76
i see your darracq and raise you a fiat s76
Holy fuck. Not only does that look like some fire-spewing hell-car out of a retrofuturistic racing game, its engine displacement is about half the volume of the fuel tank on my car.
i see your darracq and raise you a fiat s76
There's something deeply unsettling about this
i see your darracq and raise you a fiat s76
that is fucking terrifying I love it
What octane fuel does it take?
What octane fuel does it take?
Old engines have incredible low compression ratios so you could probably pour in anything and it would combust with no problem.
Is that fire or cum coming from that motor?
why not both?
